late night Chicago-style pizza in downtown Tampa. Really delicious ingredients, fluffy bread and the veggies deep dish was better than the chicken. The flavors were strong and all of the textures of the ingredients went together very well. It was a perfect late night snack to soak up the drinking.

Tampa Pizza Company in downtown Tampa offers both indoor and outdoor seating with relatively quick service, even on a busy Friday night. I ordered the Caesar salad, which was pretty good, and the cheesy garlic bread, which was decent but nothing too impressive.I tried two flatbreads--the Hawaiian, which ended up being my favorite. The addition of onions was unexpected, but it actually worked well with the other flavors. The second flatbread had pepperoni and Melissa's meatballs, which was a solid option. The menu also includes sandwiches, wings, vegetarian choices, and even Chicago deep-dish pizza, so there's a decent variety. The ambience had a casual, sports bar feel, with TVs playing games and a laid-back atmosphere. They also offer beer, wine, and seltzers, making it a good spot to grab a drink with your meal. Prices are reasonable, but overall, I'm not sure if this is a place I'd go out of my way to visit again.

I'm just convinced that the people who eat pizza in downtown Tampa simply don't know good pizza and wouldn't know good pizza if they were at the best pizza place in NYC while being handed gold bars. I don't know what gold has to do with it but whatever. So along with Eddie and Sam's, you people are nuts with your reviews of Tampa pizza joints. My wife and I ordered on line-and this is important-through their website. Not a third party like Uber or door dash. Our order included a gluten free crust for me and grilled chicken on my pizza, both of which are a not insignificant up-charge. When we arrived, the counter-person told my wife they ran out of grilled chicken, so they made my pizza anyway without the chicken, and that she couldn't get her money back but had to do it only my clicking something didn't arrive with her order. Let's break that down:First, how do you run out of grilled chicken? Like-it's chicken. Go to the grocery store and buy some damn chicken. Heck, you can get pre-grilled chicken. But okay, you don't do that. Why the hell did you make the order without calling us? You didn't make me what i ordered and then just acted like, oh, they'll eat this completely different pizza. It's not like chicken is a minor item like asking for a side of bbq sauce and not having any in stock. A grilled chicken pizza v a pizza are two completely different things. And it's not like your website didn't require me to provide my number, so why didn't you call? Finally, your website does not have a "an item didn't arrive correctly" option. Uber has that. Door dash has that. But your website doesn't and I know the online orders tell you where the order came from. So not only did you give us an item we didn't order, but you effectively charged us for it without giving us a way to get our money back. So you robbed us. Okay, so robbery, awful customer service and stupidity of employees aside, how was the food?Mediocre at best. I would actually have trouble giving 3 stars even if everything came out right and customer service was fine. And not only was it barely mediocre, but based on how I felt last night and this morning, I'm fairly certain they confused which pizza was supposed to be gluten free. They're kind of lucky I'm not allergic, but just intolerant, because I'd much rather be uncomfortable and in a bit of pain than dead. I get we could have just had a one-off bad experience but this pizza was not good. This company is not competent, and all in all I wish for the good of everyone who uses yelp, that they would delete their yelp page so no one could even find them. No sir. I didn't like it.

It was a cold & rainy day in Tampa and this Pizza was the best I've ever had. Fresh, Hot & cheesy with an excellent crust. Service was top notch. They suggested popular menu items to us since we weren't sure what to order & our selection ended up being really good. We shared a half n half with the Ricky Bobby and the Gasparilla Supreme. Great little pizza place!!

Perfect dive place to grab a bite to eat after a night out in downtown Tampa. The staff was super sweet and attentive. Loved that they were open late and had a nice variety of options on the menu. We got the Caesar salad, a couple pizzas and the cheese bread as an app. The interior was clean and the service was great. They had a nice outdoor patio area to sit as well. Overall would definitely come back.

Great service! Our server let us know while we were closing out that we were her first table she ever served because she was new. She did great!! I found Tampa Pizza Company after doing some research for low carb, cauliflower crust. I got the gluten free BBQ Chicken pizza and it was super good - honestly tasted like real flatbread. My friend got a slice of deep dish pizza, unfortunately when it came out the middle was cold, so we sent it back for them to warm it up (no biggie). We saw that the deep dish pizza had been sitting in a warmer, and considering it was the end of the night, we figured it had been sitting their for most of the day. It didn't seem very fresh.

Ate dinner here a few weeks back. The pizza was pretty good 5/5 for the flavor and taste. The pizza was cooked to perfection. The wait time was pretty long even though very few tables were occupied and we went at the tail end of the dinner time. We waited for almost 45 mins for our pizza. The service was okay, I wish our server used a pen and paper to write our order. She asked us to repeat our order 3 times. Would have been very convenient for everyone had she written down the order. The price is a little outrageous. At the end of the day, it is a casual pizza place, not a fine dining. They charge $2.49-$4 for each vegetable topping and $5-$7 for meat topping. I don't think these are organic vegetables or pasture raised organic meat and even if it were, I dont think it is worth the price they are charging.
