TacoSon has become one of our regular places to eat at.I usually get their two taco meal, barbacoa being my personal favorite. It comes with rice and your choice of beans, I go for refried. I do think the rice is a tad bit salty but I don't mind because the flavor is great, especially with their amazing green hot sauce. I wish the quesabirria was an option for this meal, but it only comes in a larger portion. I've also gotten the family taco meal, which is a great deal for the amount of food you get. Their chips, salsa, and guac are great, I recommend an order per 1-2 people, as the portion size could be bigger, especially compared to the huge tubs of rice and beans you get when you order a large. I could drink the salsa it's so good. The drive through is a great plus that we use more often than going inside. They also have a relaxed seating area inside with 8-10 tables, and outside which is nice to sit at and eat in the evening/night.

Yes this is what you wantIncredibly grateful to find this spot as I tour tacos in Tampa. In addition to the beautiful oak tree, there's lots of outdoor seating and space to relax. Vibes are 10/10. Service was fairly quick, but I do wish I had utilized online ordering. There is a drive thru too which was pretty cool. I will definitely be back.

Stopped by here on my way home to pick up dinner. Plenty of parking outside, which was great. The outside and inside are also cute and very authentic themed. Service was fast and efficient. I ordered at the counter and within 5 minutes I was walking out the door with my food.I ordered soft tacos (chicken and carne asada). Both were delicious. Also had the chips and salsa, which was a really generous portion. I was very full afterwards. Very solid mexican food option and I will definitely be coming back!!

We got the carne asada quesadillas, rojas tamales, and flan. For drinks, we got sweet tea and pineapple aqua fresca. I highly recommend the quesadillas! They add lots of veggies inside and not too much cheese, which I like - feels so much healthier. The pineapple aqua fresca was great too, very refreshing. Service was quick and friendly. I was told the restaurant was female-owned and mostly female staff, which was lovely.

Food is fantastic. It's just so busy that you have to get there early, 11:00 a.m. early or plan on a long wait. I've now started using their drive thru and I'm finding myself coming here at least 2 times a week for lunch. The food is consistent. The service is awesome. They are always hustling. The price is just right.If you love Mexican food, give this place a shot.
