Some of the BEST tacos I've ever had! A gem in the area for sure! Many surrounding restaurants can't even touch the flavor of the meat the tacos had! Staff were so friendly and encouraging to try new foods never had before. They will be remaining in the area for a short time but will be becoming a restaurant at the Grove in Wesley Chapel.

Love a good food truck - Love a good authentic taco ----- winner winner. I had the beef taco and a tongue (lengue) taco. There are done the real way, on a small corn tortilla with cilantro and onion. The hot sauce was very good. I also had a tamale that I thought was a bit flat. This is in the parking lot at a gas station, I knew it would be good cause of the line. Almost passed up the chance cause I figured it would be a while, but it went fast. This will be a regular stop.

Taco- a fried tortilla, folded and stuffed with a mixture of seasoned meats and veggies.Tacos El Patron takes this definition to a whole different level. This small local food truck offers a limited menu and has perfectly represented what a taco should be.The lengue (tongue) taco meat was seasoned to perfection and was melt in your mouth soft. Covered with onions, cilantro, sour cream and shredded cheese only compliments and completes this one of a kind taco. The pastor (marinated pork) is an explosion of flavor never experienced before. After I finished the first, I had to order two additional ones.Located in the parking lot of the Marathon gas station on the corner of SR-52 and Curley Rd in San Antonio, FL, those who are traveling along I75 and are up for a memorable foodie experience should exit and head 4 miles East to truly have a one of a kind remarkable experience.I can't wait to revisit this newly discovered epic gastrotruck.

This review is for the Tacos El Patron in the Krates in the Grove. The food truck reviews were good but stay away from the new location in the Krates in the Grove in Wesley Chapel. My husband and I are always eager to try new places and support new businesses. To say this was just pain awful is an understatement. I had a carnitas burrito. I had them leave out the lettuce and rice which to anyone who knows better do not belong in a burrito. There was no pico de gallo, no guacamole to be had. As you can see in the pictures, it was a soggy, mushy, greasy mess, with no flavor at all. My husband had the taco salad with marinated pork (pastor) as you can see in the picture there was plenty of taco shell with very little in it. It was extremely greasy as well and flavorless. Both the burrito and taco salad were $10.75 each. As in most of the restaurants in the Krate, drinks are bottled only with no ice. There were no diet sodas, only water. We spent $28.09 on this mess.

Delicious well priced tacos. This place is worthy the trip. Make sure you try the lengua, everything was perfect. Just be careful of the sauces as even the mild is kinda hot...at least for me.

What a gem! YUMMMMMM!If you are looking for REAL, AUTHENTIC TACOS....look NO further. They do a fantastic job at this place and tacos are reasonably priced at $2/each (at the time of this review). Granted you could easily eat 3-4, but the nice thing is you get variety for that quantity!Killer. Keep up the great work!PS-owner is very friendly.
