Pretty good tacos, probably not the best I've ever had but these taste authentic and make a good meal. Nice little outdoor seating situation to eat there if feel like too

Excelente! The street tacos here are some of the best in the Tampa Bay area! As someone noted, don't let the seedy gas station parking lot deceive or dissuade you from trying it. The owners are a local family in the community and take pride in their service and food. If you're a taco lover like I am, you will NOT be disappointed!

I just had a bad meal at another restaurant nearby home and I found myself asking why I didn't just grab tacos tonight (it was after 10 that's why) but it reminded me that this place is 100% great 100% of the time. I go at least twice a month smh haha. I love the Tinga tacos and green sauce but I'd also recommend the birria tacos, carne and barbacoa tacos. The nice ladies in the truck are always sweet and get your order down accurately. The nice little seating area works if you wanna eat onsite/dont mind eating at a gas station. 10/10 would recommend for quick Mexican food in South Tampa any day

This place is terrible. I ordered for me and my girlfriend and for 6 tacos IT WAS $30?!?!?!? And on top of that they had the tiniest dollop of fucking sour cream FOR 6 tacos. And guess what.. they didn't even give me the fucking birria sauce for my damn tacos. I also ordered some guacamole on the side and guess what.. THEY FORGOT THAT TOO. And they don't got shit to drink. Do not eat at this little ass food truck, it is horrible. Oh also my tacos were un poquito hard and cold.

Do not let looks deceive. This is a permanent food truck in the corner of a gas station parking lot, but they're some of the best tacos I've had in Tampa. I lived in the southwest eating authentic Mexican tacos and have been on the prowl here. I've found a couple places with good tacos and this place is one. The team in the truck works really quickly to get your food out and it's delicious. Horchata is great- not too sweet as it sometimes can be. We ordered to go flautas, tacos: lengths, shrimp, chorizo and carnitas and they were all stellar. A little higher on the price than other places I've been, but the size of the tacos and how they STUFF them with fillings is definitely worth it. They've even got a cute little patio setup if you want to eat on site- which you might because they're super good.

Pretty darned good tacos out of a food truck on Kennedy.I'm always on the lookout for a new taco place. Tacos El Borracho looked promising as previous Yelpers indicated that they have lamb barbacoa tacos. I ordered a barbacoa taco, a lengua taco, and a carnitas taco. I also ordered a small horchata. The food was ready within 8 minutes, which was very fast for a food truck. They take cash, but they also take credit card now.Alas, the barbacoa was definitely beef (my takeout container was marked "res"). It was pretty good, but (and I can't believe I'm saying this) there was too much meat. The ratio was off, and with so much meat, there were bites that didn't have enough cilantro or onion or salsa. The lengua was pretty good (maybe a little underseasoned), but lengua almost always is good. The carnitas was fine, but again, I feel that there was too much meat.Tacos are served on store-bought tortillas. They are pretty good tortillas (they don't need to double tortilla here), but they still aren't homemade. For $3 a taco, that's not very impressive. Tacos come with lime, cilantro and onion as default, and they have the typical red and green salsitas. I liked the red more than the green, which is usual for me, but in this case, the green was too watery and bland. The horchata was pretty generic. Maybe it came from a mix?All in all, this is not a destination taco place for me. It's still better than 90% of the taco places in Tampa, but I think there are much better places to get a taco, often for less money and with homemade tortillas.

The customer service at this place was great. The woman that took our order was super pleasant and the food was ready quickly. The fish tacos left a little to be desired regarding seasoning and the horchata was a bit watered down. Otherwise the tongue tacos are the best I've ever had anywhere in the country ! Will definitely visit again .

Don't let this place scare you. It's a permanent food truck in the gas station parking lot. Closest to California Mexican food I've had in awhile. They also take credit cards! We ordered the chicken flautas, carnitas burrito, asada taco, and barbacoa taco. The wait was not long at all. All of the food was delicious. They all came with a verde sauce and a hot red sauce. The taco shells were corn soft shells that tasted store bought, but the meat filling was flavorful. I did not mind the corn shells. If you're in the area, i recommend at least trying the place. It's a hidden gem!

This food truck is right next to a gas station on Kennedy. It's a bit hidden off to the side so it's easy to pass by it without seeing it. The lady at the window was super nice and helpful. We had the lamb barbacoa, carnitas and asada tacos. Most places where I've had barbacoa it's been made with beef, so I was pleasantly surprised when she told us about the lamb option. The lamb is fatty but this was the favorite taco out of the three we had. They're very generous with their meats and the tortillas are good. The tacos are served simply with cilantro and onions, plus a green and red sauce on the side. Both sauces are spicy but the red was my favorite by far.
