Mexican Party Restaurant with energetic music, pleasing staff and a fun "dia de los muertos" interior that could be more serious about food and protecting their guests from swarming flying gnats.

Unassuming Mexican joint on the perimeter of the strawberry fest. Ordered the gorditas w/carne asada and chimichanga w/carne asada and was satisfied. Ask for a side of hot sauce to spice it up!!!

Why does this place have such high ratings?? People aren't being honest oooor they like bland food, hot atmosphere, fart tasting water and mid service. Haven't been eating out in a while and was exited when I saw the high ratings here. Well, don't believe them. I ordered nachos and man, zero flavor. This can't be how Mexican food should taste...right?? When we got arrived, no one else was there, should have taken that as a sign. Shame on you 5 star reviewers.

Amazing Agua Fresca. The drinks were huge! We also ordered a Crazy Burrito, Steak Tacos, and a Chimichanga and they were all amazing. Family of five of us ate for for under $40.

The food is delicious really well put together and they care what they're doing. Prices were average the drinks were good. We will definitely come back. They give you a good deal of food real Mexican.

We've had a hard time finding great Mexican food in Florida. There are lots of amazing authentic taco trucks, etc. but sometimes, you want to dine in and eat some good grub. We just happened to be at the fairgrounds for a cat show (yep. We're those people.) when I searched for some nearby grub. Behold; Taco Loco. It's literally one minute from the Strawberry Festival fairgrounds. It's a small, unassuming, hole in the wall type of place.... just like we like them. Parking is weird: just find a spot and put your car in it. We popped in and were greeted and seated right away. Our server was so sweet and attentive. Food arrived quickly. Chips and salsa were delish. Husband ordered the Burrito of Death... or death by burrito.... or deadly burrito.... big burrito... something like that. He enjoyed it thoroughly and it truly is gigantic. He almost finished half. Doggy bag, please! Kid ordered the kid's cheese quesadilla with rice. Ate the whole thing, which doesn't happen often. The rice was said to be really good. "Thumbs up! Tastes like breadsticks!" In kid-speak, that means it's good stuff! I had the chicken fajita, hold the beans and rice. It was so good! It's been the best fajita I've had in Florida. The chicken was, wait for it..... seasoned! Not overly so, but perfectly so. And it wasn't swimming in grease! We ended up spending a little over $30, so not bad. Don't pass this place by thinking it's too tiny; there's plenty of seating inside. Bigger on the inside! Next time we're in Plant City, we're having Taco Loco. Heck. We might even just have to make it THE reason for going to Plant City.
