Tabitha was wonderful! She was so patient when we came with my in-laws and my daughter. We were so excited to try the holiday menu, and it did not disappoint. Special tea of the day with a hint of vanilla was superb, I had quite a few glasses. The scones were warm with cream and complimented it so well. The decor was beautiful, four very specific areas with thoughtful decorations, truly thoughtfully done.

The scones and Devonshire were super tasty. We enjoyed several menu options an took some scones home after lunch. The staff were very friendly and kept our drinks full. We chose the tea of the day which was better than I expected since I don't prefer lavender (or any flower for that matter) flavoring. I recommend calling for a reservation. The menu is simple but full of tasty options. Dress code is not as formal as some tea houses, but the settings are cute. Will go back! Great girls day out!

Delicious food! I had the Quiche, with a cup of soup and a delightful piece of coconut cake. The table next to me had a very good looking 3 tiered tray that I most be trying soon!!

I had a very difficult, depressing, stressful morning in a very unfamiliar town and my husband told me to go get myself something special for lunch. Thank goodness for YELP! Sweet Magnolia's popped up and, with a little help from my gps, I found it quickly. Parking is on the street (and some in back) and since it was right after the lunch rush, I had no problem getting a spot right in front.Sweet Magnolia's is a historic two-storied wooden home renovated into an old fashioned tea house. I felt right at home the moment I saw it. I stepped inside and was warmly greeted and sat immediately. There are tables on the front porch, in two rooms when you first walk in, and then in two back rooms. (I sat in one of the back rooms.) So colorful and full of stuff for sale, slightly cluttered but in a warm Victorian grandmotherly way, I literally had to stop myself from squealing. The young lady who waited on me (Lisa?) was an absolute doll. Their policy is to let you sample the tea of the day first. On that day, it was a Hibiscus Sangria Iced Tea. It looked a bit like Kool-aid but it tasted like heaven. I could taste the hibiscus and a tiny bit of honey, but it wasn't overly sweet - it was perfect. After ordering, she brought me out the scone of the day (comes with all meals). It was a Piña Colada scone - made with pineapple and coconut and served warm. Their Devonshire cream had cream cheese in it. The combination of the two was incredibly delicious and decadent. My meal came out soon. I ordered the Asparagus Windsors - pinwheel pastries with asparagus, cheese, and sun dried tomatoes and a balsamic vinegar. Broccoli salad was the side I chose. The pinwheels were fresh out of the oven and delicious. You could tell they were handmade, each were a different size and shape, which just added to their charm. The broccoli salad had fruit in it, not a favorite of mine, but it was fresh and tasty. I didn't take a picture of the menu but it changes seasonally. Not too many options, but enough to give a good choice. They had dessert, but surprisingly, I was quite full from lunch and passed. (Still had a lot of things to do.) The waitress offered and brought me out a tea in a to-go cup which was lovely and very much appreciated.Sweet Magnolia's is an absolute JEWEL in Auburndale and I highly recommend it. I'm looking forward to returning.

My mother in law took me out to brunch here and it was super cute! She ordered the afternoon tea 3 tiered plates with a little bit of everything. Everything was yummy and the apricot iced tea was good and I don't even like tea. My sisters will be coming to visit in a couple weeks and I'm going to take them there for brunch so glad I tried this place, a little hidden gem.

Very cute tearoom and great lunch. We started the meal with fresh scones with cream cheese spread. I had the Grilled Chicken salad with coconut and pineapple, and my wife had the chicken salad over greens with side of fresh chicken soup. A little pricey, but well worth it.

I researched tea rooms in the area and decided upon this one for an out of town guest. It was an absolute disappointment but also I left being extremely insulted. The service took a long time and we waited patiently for our tea and food. The quiche was so hard that you could knock the table with it. Our potato soup came out cold. We sent it back and it came back to us a little better but was a very thick consistency.. I had already put a 50% discount down of $40 for our reservation. I complained to our server about our experience and told her that I felt we should not have to pay the additional money for such a poor experience and food that we did not eat. She stated that she needed to call the owner. We waited and finally I went to the front to find that they were on the phone with the owner. When they got off the phone I was told that the owner instructed my server to escort us out of the restaurant. We were not loud, nor did we cause a scene. We simply complained about poor service Instead of an apology for such a poor experience, we were escorted out of the restaurant. I do not recommend this tea room at all.

Sweet Magnolia's Tea Bistro is always the most wonderful spot for lunch. Their scones, soups, salads, and deserts are second to none.

We had a small bridal shower for my daughter here. We chose the high tea. The house is cute - the area outside is pretty. We took several pictures out there. The staff was kind and helpful. The food was tasty. A bit on the pricey side for what we got.
