Sweet Buns Bakery

Sweet Buns, you'll always be special to me. I remember hearing about this place a very long time ago on TikTok. Everyone was buzzing about how it's self-serve, affordable prices, and absolutely delicious.It lives up to all of those things. I recommend getting there early to get first pick! My top bites are always the Japanese cheesecake, BBQ Pork Buns, Ham Cheese Buns, and the Strawberry n Cream buns.

Some of the buns had too much dough and it took away from the taste. Besides that, they were decent. The non dessert buns like the Hawaiian and BBQ Pork were cold.Self serve and the girls at the register were quick and friendly.Price is pretty good for the amount you get. Overall, I would come back because it's nearby and has a wide selection of sweet treats. But is it worth going out of your way to get? Not really.

I went around noon on a Monday and I was surprised to see most of the bakery are still fully stocked. The service was fast. The buns are great. One bite and it takes me right back to HK. The pineapple bun got me a little confused. It actually has pineapple in it. Perhaps I just grabbed the wrong one.

I miss this place and I wish you guys had more locations! I was so happy we got to stop in the other night and grab some treats.

Good price. Good food. Good options. Breads are on the sweeter side. Their Portuguese egg tart is delicious. Plenty of seats. Big place. Quick service

I don't make it out to the UT area much but this place is going to be a staple every time I do from now on.Walking in, it's aesthetic is warm and smells delicious. You probably can't go wrong with anything here. I let the tongs guide me and respectfully tossed any diet plans away.I ended up with a blueberry cinnamon bun, red bean roll and a lemon bun. I hope the tongs guide you here as well ;)

This place has the best japanese sweet treats. My advice is to get there earlier in the day so you get first pick. Everything is clean and most employees are friendly. There is one employee who ALWAYS has an attitude and thats why I only gave 4 stars.

This place is a great stop, everytime we're in the USF area we have to stop by Sweet Buns. I never get tired of seeing all the delicious buns! So many different types and I just want to try them all. This visit we got the chocolate bun and buttercream bun and a pork floss and a Napoleon. So good they do have seating to the right inside so we ate two there and brought the others home. I did visit on a day it was incredibly warm inside maybe they had the heat on high but we didn't stay long. Hopefully it's not like that anymore:)

Beautiful buns and baked goods!! Want to try one of everything we will be back! Loved the pineapple bun and coconut bun. Very inexpensive. Super speedy checkout. Very clean

Place is clean friendly staff but I feel you get cheated with hardly no filling inside. Custard bun and Oreo chocolate ganache bun. They were just ok nothing to rave about. Cheap eats.
