Second time at Sushi Yama and the service is great. Clean and nice aesthetic - very classic and cutely decorated. The server enters the food as you order it so the first thing you ordered could come out as you're still ordering the rest! Decent roll variety with options or sushi/sashimi or hand rolls too. Gyoza is pan fried and good. Shumai is the from frozen kind (standard when not dim sum). Noodles that come with AYCE were flavorful and good texture! Little meat included even though I got beef only. Clam soup I think is miso base just with green onions and clams in it. It was good still.

The food was amazing. sushi Yama staff members weee quick to set up the table for a large group, I would say being a Saturday night and while we tried to make an dinner appointment on the phone , we got to know it is walk in and first come first serve. So, we had to wait around 50 min or so as it was weekend night but as soon as we got the table set up, the servers were pretty quick n efficient in taking our orders. Most of the people chose not to opt for the 'all you can eat' buffet it was pretty interesting to see the variety of sushi type this Japanese restaurant had to choose from, the dragon roll stood out to me. The atmosphere was pretty nice, clean and organized. The amount of people around yet being a spacious interior , they could accommodate quite a few families. The food quality is great and serving took not too long about 20 to 25 min. The noodles were spicy and meat was juicy , portion size was pretty big so had to pack it to go. Overall, presentation of the sushi dishes were intricate and most of the dishes tasted very good. Definitely a great place for family get together!

This is my go to made to order all you can eat sushi place. It's good. But the service can sometimes be less than stellar. However Ibrahim is awesome and the bartender has such a fun personality. Get tuna tartar and. Stay away from the calamari, it is always overcooked.

Yes, this is a sushi buffet, but let's be clear. It's not just sushi. All you can eat. There is also a hibachi all you can eat option. This is definitely not your normal Chinese type buffet, the way it works is the servers come to your table, Take your order and bring the food to you. For $30 per person, the sushi is extremely fresh and delicious. They have an array of specialty rolls and simple rolls The hibachi is also very tasty. I recommend the Kobe 24 roll along with a goza appetizer. I also want to mention that you can mix and match your sushi and hibachi. The price also includes a choice of dessert which is fried cheesecake or ice cream. They have three flavors strawberry, chocolate, and green tea. If you're in the area and looking for a place to eat with a big appetite, this is a place you must try!

Very good sushi, we tried a pretty big assortment. Spring rolls fresh and crunchy, not greasy. Gyoza also very good. Service was excellent. Ambiance warm, clean, inviting. Recommend

Definitely my go-to spot for AYCE sushi! I'm honestly surprised I have never written a review before because I've been at least 10 times lol. They've got all the basics down - large parking lot, great service every time, and a relaxing vibe. It's also always full in here, but I rarely ever have to wait! Starting September 1, 2024, they started a new rule where everyone at your table must order from either the ACYE menu or the traditional menu. Just good to know! They also serve the dinner menu all day on Saturday and Sunday so be aware of that too. The lunch price is $20.95 and I think the dinner is more like $35 (but don't quote me on that). Some of my favorites - Spicy Kani Salad, Spicy Salmon Hand Roll, and the Baby Tiger Roll. But try lots of different things and enjoy!!!

Food was actually really good for what we paid. All you can eat sushi for $30, what a steal. Service was nice and quick. The outside kind of deceiving because it didn't look that nice but I was pleasantly surprised when we walked in. I'd come back here and would recommend anyone else who is considering coming here!

Walking into Sushi Yama on a busy Friday night, I was pleasantly surprised by the lively vibe--and by their "all-you-can-eat" sushi deal! It's not a typical buffet; instead, you order from your table, and they bring everything right to you. I'd tried a similar setup in Miami, and it's a style I really enjoy. They've got a whole team behind the sushi counter, so even with the crowd, orders come out fast.We decided to sit at the bar, and Maleki, our bartender, was fantastic. He explained how the all-you-can-eat worked, made us feel welcome, and managed to keep up with everyone around us.Overall, it was a great experience, and I'm definitely excited to go back!Note: You can order as much as you want, but if you have a lot of leftovers, they'll weigh it and charge a bit extra.

Came here for the all you can eat (AYCE) and left full and happy. Decided to walking in and sit at the bar and ended up having the best service I've experienced in a while. The highlight of the AYCE was the volcano roll and yellowtail sashimi. If you're hungry and you don't mind a $35 price tag the all you can eat has an amazing variety of choices from sushimi, sushi, saladhibachi, fried appetizers, and so much more.

this is an exceptional all you care to eat restaurant. we had a great experience and every time we go it's wonderful. The value is great. The service is friendly and responsive even when it's busy you don't have to wait long and the price is great. I suggest going between about 2 and 5 PM and ordering off the dinner menu everything tastes really fresh and delicious and don't forget to have the fried cheesecake at the end. Yum. The restaurant inside is very clean with clean bathrooms and just a traditional Chinese buffet ambience but very nice nicely done.
