Very cute dining spot! They have $7 rolls for happy hour during the week and on Saturdays which is always nice. The service was great!

Cool little spot in the Ybor district. Very intimate setting very kind staff, after a long day traveling for work. It was nice to have an easy dinner next to my hotel. I got the two recommended roles the Buccaneers and crunchy I just told by my waitress, they were the most popular. Didn't disappoint, nice little spot.

Probably the best sushi we have had in a long time. Neat little old converted house in Ybor, we sat on the porch. We got the steamed chicken dumplings and crab rangoons to start. Rainbow roll, California, and the No Joke Roll. Service was attentive and friendly. Recommend!

The food was amazing and for the most part, we had great service. We had a large party, so our food came out as it was ready instead of all together. That wasn't a problem - it just took a long time to have our complete order. Our server was a doll, though, and checked on us as much as she could. I would definitely go back, just with a smaller group.

I recently visited Tampa to see some friends and we were craving sushi, so we decided to try out Sushi House. The restaurant's exterior was charming, adorned with twinkling lights. Inside, it featured a simple, modern decor with neutral colors. However, we felt the place could have been cozier with more tables and comfortable seating.Unfortunately, the ambiance wasn't ideal. There was a persistent issue with the restroom, which happened to be the only one available. This meant servers were constantly going in and out to fix it--not exactly reassuring when it comes to the people handling your food.Service also left much to be desired. I asked our waitress if they could make my sushi roll with minimal rice, and she assured me it could be done. When the roll arrived, though, it was disappointingly overloaded with rice. I've always believed that excessive rice in sushi indicates a lower-quality restaurant. In my experience, cheaper places tend to skimp on fillings and load up on rice to create the illusion of a larger portion. For me, the rice should complement the filling and toppings, not overshadow them.Despite its charming exterior, Sushi House fell short of our expectations in terms of food quality, service, and ambiance. Considering the price, we were hoping for a more refined dining experience. In conclusion, this restaurant feels overpriced for what it offers.

By far my favorite sushi spot in Tampa. The restaurant is in ybor across the street from where the chickens primarily live and where they have the Saturday farmers market. It's in a literal house and it gets pretty busy. I got the salmon and yellow tail sashimi. Both very fresh and delicious. Priced as expected. Cute simple decor on the inside and friendly waitstaff. The miso soup was light and fulfilling. I really enjoy my experience whenever I go

Came here on Friday night, made a reservation in advance. Place wasn't packed, so not sure if you absolutely need a reservation or not. Service was super friendly and attentive, definitely enjoyed the atmosphere. Location is pretty cool, it's an old house, so it's very cozy. Sushi were amazing! We enjoyed them very much, I think it's best sushi place we have tried in Tampa. I love sushi but it's been hard to find a good one. I am happy we found a pretty good one. They have rolls with raw fish and cooked. So if you are not into raw, or cannot have raw, you can have cooked. Menu for cooked is huge. We didn't try cooked, because I just had a baby and finally can eat raw. We had miso soup that was amazing. We had 3 rolls and all 3 were great. Definitely recommend and definitely will be back:

This place is kinda off the beaten path. Small house, not a lot of seating. However, the service was excellent, the entire staff was super pleasant. I have eaten a lot of sushi and this was hands down the best EVER. The individual flavors were amazing. Highly recommend giving this place a try, you won't regret it.

Had a nice dinner here with some coworkers. Service was prompt and the atmosphere was inviting. I ordered the coral reef roll and an order of salmon nigiri. The roll was wonderfully saucy. I was expecting the fish to be lightly fried but it's actually very crispy and provides a lot of crunch to the roll. Price was fair for portion sizes.
