Supermercado Nacional

Completely unimpressed. The owner needs to visit "Suveniles de Puerto Rico" in Fort Lauderdale, to get an idea of what a Puerto Rican" colmado should model. Willer's Supermarket's produce area was substandard, many of the fruits were rotten, wilted, and expensive for their poor quality. The meat selection was ok, however the fresh meats freezers were not cool enough, in comparison to most supermarkets. I tried the bakery....substandard pastries as well. Just because the store is in a poor area, doesn't mean the quality of products & services need to be poor as well.

Recently opened a Supermarket that is not only for Latinos, but it has a great selection of Products from Puerto Rico and that you can't get in other supermarkets, since they come straight from Puerto Rico.

It's nice to have a grocery store that brings so many childhood memories come back to life. Everything in this store is very authentic food and items that were hard to find at one point, is now more accessible than ever.

Don't list your hours as 8-8 everyday if you are closed by 7:43 on a Sunday evening. Igual a Puerto Rico.

So happy to shop at an authentic Puerto Rican grocery store. Feels like I'm in the island. So proud of supporting this store. You can find all of our favorites from home. So welcoming right at the door and throughout the store. Everyone feels like family. I live in Tampa and was overjoyed to go here with my mom this weekend. Brought back lots of goodies. I wish you all much success and blessings. I'm hoping this becomes a chain and my hope is that all Latinos enjoy the enormous selection of foods and souvenirs from our beautiful island much love & sucess!!!
