Sunset Bar & Grille

Service was good...when we arrived (a party of 5) it was a bit busy. We were told that they would seat us but our order wouldn't be taken for about 20mins -- was not an issue for us. The waitress came within 10min :) our food came out in a decent time after....all perfect temp and taste. My Sweet potatoes fries & the blackened BLT Shrimp was great..(the bacon was extra crispy, the bread was soft and fresh...the amount of mayo seemed too little BUT once I folded my sandwich and ate it, it was the PERFECT amount of mayo) and the other food items were throughly enjoyed by my friends (butter chicken, yellow rice, & roti bread, crab cheese, jalapeño bites, blackened chicken sandwich, & spanakopita).

Went here for the first time on Thanksgiving since we didn't want to cook. While we got the Thanksgiving meal and nothing from their normal menu, I would still recommend it. The views and service cannot be beat. The manager Jonathan? served us and spent time to discuss the food and history of the location. The owner also stopped by to say hi and was friendly. I look forward to going back here to try some of the good looking items on their normal menu.

This was had great service and pretty good food! The have a heavy Indian influence, which was really nice and surprising. Prices were great. True home town vibe with good selection of local beers on tap.

Very nice little spot. The view is amazing and they got a deck out back for those who want to sit outside by the lake.

Horrible...food and service. Ordered 2 appetizers, fried shrimp and calamari. Fried shrimp just ok. Calamari was overcooked tasted like rubber bands. One appetizer plate had dried food on it. Told server when she brought entrees (she hadn't checked on us) and she said yes ma'am. Fish and chips again just ok, salmon with pineapple salsa delicious. Shrimp scampi oily, greasy mess. Pasta overcooked and very few small shrimp, nasty tasting. Service non-existent; checked back once when she brought entrees, no refills on drinks, didn't check to see if we wanted dessert. Never got dinner rolls that was supposed to come with pasta. Restaurant was not busy, now I know why. The view is the only thing this restaurant has going for it.

4 of us at the table. We all had a great meal, groupersandwich, ultimate fish sandwich ( bring your appetite ), fried shrimp was just okKeylime pie was awesome!

I ordered chicken piccata which had absolutely no flavor and the "sauce" was watery. My partner ordered the fisherman's platter which consisted of a piece of fried fish, three small but tasty conch fritters , shrimp, scallops . Good but nothing special . The setting is pretty sitting on the deck -no music was played until another customer played her Pandora app. Service was ok.

Passed by here 11/16/24. Only a few cars in the parking lot but we wanted to eat on the water. I was looking for something light so I asked if the soups were homemade...he said no. So, I ordered the "Big BLT". There was nothing big about it. 2 slices of bacon on a untoasted hamburger bun with a few tiny scraps of lettuce and one half dollar size piece of tomato. I should have snapped a picture as I would have been embarrassed to serve it. I had to ask for salt and pepper, waiter brought some back, but salt was empty and he never got around to bringing a fresh shaker when we mentioned it. Also a tiny bit of mayo on one side of bun, waiter never brought extra mayo after I asked. There was 6 of us. We all agreed that it's a nice setting on the lake, but everyone's food was mediocre at best. Service was the same or worse. We will never stop there again...

Very unsatisfied with food and service. Definitely do not recommend. Ambience was fine.

Very good food and a pleasant place to eat and drink. Very competent wait staff. Maybe could do a little more with the lakeside setting.
