Sunrise restaurant and boba tea

Where do I begin? I'll give you my first impression.The dining area is clean, bright, and inviting. There's natural sunlight throughout the restaurant, with some unique light fixtures. There's a large display case at the counter for mochi donuts. Although, they didn't have any made when I was there for lunch (maybe tomorrow). The counter service was great! I was given recommendations on drinks. I ended up ordering the Vietnamese Iced Coffee. I'd never had it made with almond milk before, and I actually thought it was pretty good. I'd get it again.They no longer have Beef Stew on the menu. That's totally understandable since people don't really order it much in this area. I don't know why, but this is not the first restaurant to remove it for this very same reason. So, I decided to try their Grilled Pork Banh Mi instead of the pho. They asked if I wanted it toasted, and I said yes. It didn't take long to make. It was brought to my table in a timely manner. I just wish that I could say it was great. Let's just say that it could have been better. It was actually quite dry. I think you can see that in my picture. The pork was not tender, and the carrots and daikon had no pickled flavor. I tried to eat as much as I could, but it just wasn't desirable. It was missing something (maybe some TLC). I'm sorry to say that I've had much better ones from other restaurants in the area. I hope they can improve it somehow with better ingredients. It has potential. Hopefully they are open to feedback so that they can adapt and improve as they grow.I may go back to try the pho & mochi donuts when I'm in that area. I just won't be rushing to go back any time soon.

Brand New,Custom Service was Excellent!!Everything that you order is fresh!!All veggies and meats all fresh!!This is a brand new spot just opened and can get quite busy something's may take a moment to come out as I just stated everything is cooked to order and is all freshly made. But if you have the patience please stop in this place you will not be disappointed. The owners are exceptionally nice and friendly but are still looking to hire full time employees as we all know it definitely hard to find these days. You must and mi say must try the bao buns like I said cooked fresh so good and the house fried rice omgggg the freshness of these dishes really stands out, just please it's so freaking delicious. The inside is cute and comfy there are places to sit right outside to enjoy the nice weather. Oh wait the Noodle Soups and Pho yeahhhh you wanna try that too. Okay I'll be back with more suggestions and reviews as I was super impressed with this place. Epic**** and it's walking distance near my neighborhood which makes it so much better

If bad service and mediocre food is your jam then you have found the place!!! It took one hour just to get a drink and they did not bother to offer us any water or anything while we're waiting. The place was not even that busy. Not all of the tables were occupied and most of them were also waiting for food. They also charge $1 for less ice and $2 for no ice for sugarcane drinks but couldn't fill up the cups. Their banh mi was not toasted and probably the most chewy banh mi I have tried in my life. There were at least 6 people in the drink area but it took forever for them to make any drink. I saw people canceling their orders and leaving in frustration. They have no respect for people's time and money. Will not go back!!!I initally wrote a review on their facebook and they removed it. Unbelievable! And on google, they posted a bunch of fake reviews to trick potential customers. Very dishonest and unethical! I always try to support small businesses when I can but this business is so shady and does not deserve any support. Please take your business somewhere else.

This place is new and I am glad they decided to open where they did, close to me! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I had the Vermicelli noodles house special bowl and omg! They give you plenty of noodles, not like in other places where they put a huge bed of lettuce under and minimal food on top. When I tell you this bowl was loaded with food, and it was fresh! The spring roll was delicious, they also took the time for presentation and each protein was seasoned different and flavorful. I had the Vietnamese coffee and it was perfect, not too sweet and it did not had an aftertaste like in some other places. The place was very clean and the decor was very simple but hip. Will be going back to try the pho and bah mi.

I would give this place 0 star if I could. Absolutely zero chance I would ever go back here. You will not find any Vietnamese restaurant anywhere in the world that serves cold, untoasted, chewy Banh Mi and uncooked rice besides this place. I have heard they also now sell 'frozen' and 'spoiled' sugarcane juice.Their food is bad but their customer service is even worse. While every customer has to wait at least 45 mins to get any type of food/drink, none of the staff (at least 7 behind counter) does anything for customers, including providing basic necessities like water, utensils, napkin, condiment, or even just an apology.To top it off, they have shown no remorse for their substandard food/service as they would rather continue to post fake reviews on Google/Yelp to lure new customers in than spend time fixing their shortfalls.

Came in wanting to try something different and I'm so glad I did! Super fresh and very traditional! I also had one of their milk teas with boba and it was also delicious! Will definitely be coming back and I can't wait!

not so good. pho did not taste properly made. out of a mix or commercially made maybe. crispy eggrolls so oily they were dripping and gooey inside. disappointing. sterile vibe with musak playing. and a little too pricey. doubt i will go back.

Despite all the bad reviews, I decided to give them a chance today. I had Spicy Beef Noodle (BBH) and Sugar Cane juice. The service was good and friendly. Everything was good until they brought my food out. As you can see in my pictures, the bowl was so messy with all the broth's residue outside of the bowl. They didn't even care to wipe it cleaned before serving to their customers.‍ I wonder what else they didn't care to do in their kitchen. Keep the kitchen cleaned and sanitized, perhaps.‍ Now talking about the food, it smelled really good but the taste was nothing like BBH. If you're not Vietnamese, you might can't tell much the difference. But I do. Since they served me this dirty bowl, it made me wonder if they even washed their veggies. In summary, I gave them a chance but they failed me just like they have been failing many of their customers. This is one of the places that the owner doesn't care about serving their good and healthy food to the community. It's all about building up new business then sell them for profits. So no, I would never come back and support this local business. If I'm right, they will sell it within one year.

My daughter ordered Mango Boba Tea with strawberry popping Boba that I was charged extra for and the drink had no Boba. In addition she called and when ordering asked if the shrimp spring rolls were fried, she was told yes however we didn't receive fried spring rolls. The shrimp Pho only had 4 shrimp in it. When we called regarding the order mistakes we were told they wouldn't do anything about the incorrect spring rolls or the lack of boba. We were basically told it was our fault that their worker doesn't know the difference between fried and non fried spring rolls. The owner told my daughter it's only $0.85 for the Boba so we're not giving you the money back, but how are you upcharging for an item, not providing the item that was PAID FOR, then NOT GIVING MONEY BACK for the item you upcharged me for? This place is new so they need to understand customers make a business and based on the other bad reviews clearly owning a restaurant is not your forte. We will never return and I will be disputing these charges with my bank.

Never left a review but I think I should for this place. we have gone a couple of times and got the chicken Pho soup which is good. I tried a rice platter and the chicken was over cooked and hard so I let them know. I wanted them to redo it it. My wife tasted it and said yes it's very hard. Now if the food isn't the best I'm not one to send it back or make a fuss but this chicken was not good at all. I'm very disappointed at this place because the pho soup is good but the way I was treated I will not be returning. It's a shame to lose a customer because the manager said if I throw out what I made it's a loss so you can order another one but you will have to pay. It was chicken and white rice. It didn't cost much on their end and to lose a customer because they didn't redo it is a big big shame.
