They have a pretty good lunch food bar. Cuban sandwiches. Rice. Beans. Beans & Rice. Deviled crabs. Stuffed poatoes. Grilled chicken. Pernil (roast pork). And oxtil type dish. Also basic groceries and such. Nothing fancy.

Fried pork bellies taste as good as they look. We ate half of them before I could take a pic. All that goodness for $2.48. Don't miss these in your life!Every day they have different specials. Roast pork, steak and onion, chicken - the dinners are generous portions with all kinds of sides, such as white & yellow rice, black & pinto beans, mashed potatoes, corn & green beans. They also have all kinds of sandwiches, including a great Cuban, at really fair prices. Staff is also very nice and friendly.

This place has fallen off big time!! Once they changed owners about a year ago.. everything went down hill for them .. the service is not good and food is a big two thumbs down!! .. Cuban sandwich, well.. thats what they call it. Practically a ham & cheese sandwich there was no pork on the sandwich! They need to step their game up if they want to last!!

I love this place I used to be a regular here when I lived in Tampa but I make my business to come by every time I'm in town. It's a Spanish bodega that has the best Cubans and food for very cheap. Is busy at lunch time so make sure you call ahead if you don't have time. Also parking could be challenging but it's so worth it. My favorite is the chicharron crunchy fried pork belly sold by weight at 6 bucks the pound I like to get 3$ worth that's enough to pick up as an appetizer oh and the cafe con leche a must try!

I purchased 2 cuban sandwiches all the way from Sunrisse Food Market. I sent my neighbor to pick them up and he asked for the sandwiches and she told him that they would be $17 plus some change. He asked her about the price, that he thought it was too much, she said that was the correct price, which s he had told him earlier that they would be $5.99 plus tax. I called the Sunrise and informed them that they owed me monies because the price was too high, and I explained that the sandwiches should only be $13 or $14 dollars and I also told her that she had given him the wrong sandwiches. She hung up the phone in my face. I drove there and another lady was there waiting on the sandwiches she sent me. I told her that she was rude to hang up the phone in my face and she never apologized for her behavior. She gave me my refund of $4 and some change and I left. I order the cubans for some young men working at my house. If it not been for that reason, I would have asked for all my money back and probably will not patronize their establishment again.

I don't know if it was because it was lunch time but they had the worse service I have had in a long time. They wouldn't let me make a order over the phone for me and my coworkers. Then they let me order 3 sandwiches over the phone we get there and the sandwiches were not ready. we had to wait over 45 mins for the sandwiches to be made also the workers were speaking in Spanish complaining about making the sandwiches ad if we didn't understand Spanish then when I got my sandwich it was soggy at the bottom completely wet. The worst Cuban place and I heard good things that's the only reason I went.
