Smoking bar and boy do they ever. This place is like a smoke stack. The bartender was friendly but that is all. We have been here on and off since 2017 watched it change hands and "rebrand" itself. The clientele is the same. The place is the same other than moving the cooler. Bathrooms the same. Lets just say it is a dive bar and likely won't be changing its ID anytime soon. After leaving we smelled like a pack of smokes and I am pretty sure I breathed in a pound of tar. Likely won't be back unless someone in the group wants to go.

This dive bar is small and smoky. My kinda joint! There are no beers on tap here, everything is served via bottle. It is not a full Liquor Bar either, but they do have wine for those who do not like beer. Choices are limited, I'm guessing due to the small size of the place, but they do offer about 8 or 9 craft beer options in addition to the usual domestic suspects. The bar does not serve food, but there is a vending machine with plenty of potato chips and other assorted crunchy snacks to eat. And there is a communal microwave, oddly positioned next to the pool table for those who perhaps bring food which needs to be heated up?This place opened in 1961 and claims to be the oldest bar in Dunedin. This is interesting because just the other day I was hanging out at The Inn Lounge on the Dunedin Causeway and they're open date is 1960, a full year before Tumbleweeds. Bar Wars, anyone?Victoria is a very friendly bartender, and I would potentially consider revisiting this place simply because it's been around for a really long time. However, it is a cash-only business and I cannot freaking stand cash-only businesses.

asked a guy at a pizza place in Dunedin for any nearby bars. We'd gone to the Chica boom room across the street from the pizza place just prior, we'd been bar hopping when we found this place. Cheap beers, very friendly barflys and bartenders. No complaints whatsoever, it was very laid back and enjoyable. A good end to the night.

Love this place! Been coming here for years. Great prices for Gluten-free Redbridge Beer and it is smoker friendly. Have attended many benefits here over the years. Everyone here really pulls together and helps out when the need arrises! From time to time there are cook offs. It is a place where everyone knows your name

They have a bartender named Sandy she is a totally unprofessional person she tells people to shut up and they should not talk. If people wanted to drink and not talk they would stay home and drink for a lot cheaper. The bar is good and the owner is great his only mistake is this miserable person who hates her job and everyone who comes to the bar maybe he will realize how bad she is hurting his business

I'm from New York and was looking for a real dive bar. I found Sullys and it's the real thing. If visiting Dunedin you have to go to Sullys for a really fun night out.
