Subs 'n Such

Ordered a large cuban pressed and a large chicken philly. 1 word: Awesome. No complaints. Highly recommended.

This is a stand alone kiosk in the middle of a strip mall. The experience would be an "outdoor" experience, as it is a drive-thru with limited outdoor only seating. Many eat in their cars near the establishment. My low rating is based on an employee/service, not on the taste of the food. I ordered a Dean's and went to eat it in the empty parking lot at 10 am, pulling across two empty spaces for the quick bite. A large red Explorer pulled toward me T-Bone fashion and laid on the horn. It wanted that specific parking space. Horrified & intimidated, I pulled out of the space. The woman, dressed in black, wearing clothes too small for her (picture crotch-short shorts, clingy T), slammed her car door and got out screaming "fucking bitch" among other out-of-control epithets, gyrating her arms and walking toward my car like she was going to attack. She proceeded inside the employee door of Subs 'n Such.If this woman represents "family-owned & operated", STAY AWAY! It will cost them over $100 month in my business between both stores. They should be ashamed of this employee behavior representing their business. No one deserves the bullying "road rage" verbal assault, let alone in an empty parking lot with many available spaces. I will certainly be letting all my friends know of the experience and I did turn the episode over to police, with license plate JYA V56.

Today I ordered a 12 in Dean Special all the way - mayo lettuce tomato onion pepper relish and a nice touch of fresh garlic served on french bread along with a side of potato salad and a jumbo sweet tea all for under $15. The sub was everything I hoped it would be. It was so yummy I couldn't put it down so I didn't even touch the potato salad, yes I'm admitting to eating the whole darn thing. LOL. The staff seemed friendly and they delivered to the lobby of my hotel in what felt like less than 30 minutes. Having this sub will be a priority of mine whenever I am near Lakeland. I can't wait for my husband to try one. I'm shocked locals haven't written a review. This place has it going on! First visit today and I was greeted at the drive thru by two of the nicest ladies. I asked about the most popular sub ordered and was told it was the Italian for cold subs and Cuban for hot subs. I can never pass up a Cuban, but was skeptical because this isn't a Cuban restaurant. I decided to give it a try. Wow is all I can say! Not your typical Cuban sandwich, but that's what makes it so good! Because this was my first visit the ladies gave me a free brownie! I will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu. Keep up the great work Subs n' Such, you're a gem in the city of Lakeland!

I was lost looking for a place to eat during my visit to Lakeland. My GPS was sending me in circles through 15 mph neighborhoods. As I was turning around in a parking lot, I found Subs n Such. A nice lady came out the back door to take my order in the drive thru. I asked her what vegetables were on the veggie sub and she said 'all of them, like pickles, cucumbers, carrots, green olives, black olives, lettuce, tomato, beets, garlic.." There may have even been a few more. On Wednesdays there is a wrap special that includes a free (huge) beverage. My wrap was awesome. All of the fresh veggies blended very nicely together. I'm not sure I could ever find this place again, but I would highly recommend it to whomever does!

This place is tiny on the inside and obviously family owned & operated. We stopped in after their lunch rush and they were in the middle of repairing a cooler which made ordering & eating in awkward. It took too long to make our sub and wrap but the food was ok. Not a place I'd likely visit again.

Good sandwich, stopped by for lunch with the family. Very good prices. Son was a little disappointed of chili on the chili fog, but said good otherwise. Would go back.

I love this sandwich shop! It's convenient, reasonably priced and the food is good! I love their drive through too.

Oh my gosh their subs are the greatest! We usually get their cheese-steak sub, but we have also tried their Cubans and Italian subs. When we feel like getting a sandwich out (only has drive thru at Lake Miriam Subs n' Such) this is our "go to" place! Call ahead and orders are always ready, staff is always friendly and subs are excellent!

Best bacon and and cheese croissant I've ever had. Just fantastic. They make a great sandwich as well. Definitely a Lakeland treasure!
