Stillwaters Tavern

We're visiting Museum of Fine Arts, and found this place right across. They gave us popcorn to munch on instead of bread while waiting for our food, Fun ^_^We had sponge dock Greek salad with grilled chicken and Thai salad with grilled chicken. They're both delicious especially the Thai salad had sweet potato noodles with kale, napa, snow peas and perfect amount of peanut dressing, loved it! The place is nice with indoor and outdoor seating. The waiter is professional and nice. We really enjoyed our quick luck here.

Visiting the area for the weekend and was able to get a seat outside. It was a busy Saturday evening but service was good. The food was fresh and tasty but a little overpriced for the portion size. I decided to try the hogfish with rice and beans. The fish was good and prepared well, but a vegetable would have been nice to balance the meal. The burgers and sandwiches looked great and may have been a better option. If I go back, I will try one of those. I also had dessert - gooey cake with apples and ice cream. It was really good.Definitely worth checking out. I suggest sitting outside and enjoying the ambiance.

Very good restaurant on Beach, right in the heart of North Straub Park and the Pier. To me, a better option than Parkshore Boulevard in terms of quality of food and overall experience. There is almost certainly a wait unless you go during off hours. The vegan Thai salad is a standout for me, along with the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. They also have some pretty great cocktails - #22 and #48 are personal favorites. Visiting St. Pete's for the day, we stopped in for lunch hoping for some good clam chowder and fresh fish. We ended up trying a few items including the house made smoked beef sausage, which was tasty but room temperature. We asked to rewarm it, tasted better but nothing to write home about. Enjoyed the Caesar salad and the two soups. Clam chowder was better than the conch soup. The catch of the day sandwich was very tasty served with a fried green tomato and hot fries or southern coleslaw. The waiter was very friendly but never did refills on our water. All pretty good but not sure I'd rush back.

I visited Stillwaters a few times and never posted a review because it was a quick visit, and no intent to eat. I have to admit the food has been A-1. I ordered the fried fish, salad and fries, clam chowder and conch. I will give the flavor from the beginning to the end 10 out of 10. The service was great, the waitress didn't skip a beat. The seating outside spacious with beautiful scenery and inside is pretty dark but clean! Definitely, stop by the Stillwater's if you are in the St Pete area!

Great ambiance, outdoor seating was great to enjoy the day people watching. The service was good and friendly. Our server had a lot of great recommendations and I ended up getting one of the specials. Would recommend when you're in Tampa. Great spot, yummy food and cool place for people watching while having brunch with the girls.

This place was okay imo. We ordered warm pretzels and house smoked wings for starters and jerk chicken and Cuban sandwich for entree. Servers were nice, casual place. The pretzels were warm, and filing. The chicken wings were saucy, and good! Jerk chicken lack of flavor, it was bland. I was expecting a different part of chicken.. not a chicken breast. I was expecting spices and what a jerk chicken should tasting like... but it lack a lot of those. Cuban sandwich was okay too. Had better ones somewhere else. 3 starts for the pretzels and wings!

This place always delivers. Year after year it has been consistent service, food and atmosphere. The on tap cold brew bourbon is 5 stars alone. All of their desserts are 5 stars too. Clean, prompt (even when super slammed) and the food comes out hot and beautifully plated.Still dreaming of this tres leches cake!!!!!!

We stopped in for dinner before a show at Mahaffey. Our servers, Julie and Nicole, were awesome. They helped us decide on entrees and were super friendly. The food was delicious, unique and classic menu options. We also felt the prices were very reasonable! It was a perfect walk to the theater after dinner.

First thing that came to mind when passing by this joint was the excellent atmosphere. You will notice they have indoor dining as well as outdoor dining. We decided to eat outside and it was a great choice!As far as the food we ordered the pretzels, chicken wings, Cuban sandwich and jerked chicken. I thought the food was great! The pretzels were nice, warm and came with a cheesy mustard sauce. The chicken wings tasted smoked and had a great sriracha bbq sauce. Cuban was also good, it came with a side of very nice and crispy French fries. The jerked chicken didn't taste like a traditional jerked chicken taste but it was good. It's a much healthier alternative compared to the rest of the menu. It was tender, juicy and came with a side of rice and black beans. Overall, the staff were friendly as well as helpful. The atmosphere was quite delightful and the food was good. The one con was the chicken because it slightly lacked that jerked chicken flavor. I will definitely be coming back!
