Stan's Tapas Lounge

This site used to be the Wine Knot if you are familiar with the area. We had these super fancy deviled eggs as a tapas and were thrilled with the dish including a pepper jam, yum! We also had the plancha steak which we asked to be cooked more, not served rare....amazing! They allow you to try the wines before you order, and we really tasted some very good ones! Renee, our bartender/server was delightful. There are lots of seafood choices on tapas menu, but my sister doesn't care for seafood, so the ones we chose were perfect for both of us! Renee said that those are two of her favorites on the menu.Music is cocktail hour on Pandora. They keep it cool in the restaurant. It's refreshing after a day at the beach. Casual to resort casual dress and you'll fit in!Parking in the back of restaurant and street parking in front.Pricing is average for a fancy place! I will come back!

Want on a Wednesday night with a friend for "Fondue with Friends". Gina was our server. Service was really good, but we were the ones there for there for quite a bit. We both had the sangria... it was delish. There is a choice between a small and large fondue. We went with large and the dippers. Dippers were some croutons, chunks of salami, apples, and blanched broccoli. The cheese was swiss. It was tasty and fun. Also ordered the hot honey naan flatbread. That was really, really good. Then we split dessert... the lemon cream cake. It was light and lovely. I really should have taken photos. Sorry. I would have given 5 stars except the bill was quite high for the food served. It was tasty, but prices were high for the serving sizes. I'll def go back because they had some really neat things on the menu.

We were staying here for a birthday and a local recommended Stan's to us. We had the marinated olives, the fish spread, the shrimp cocktail, and the jambon beurre speciale. All were amazing! Our bartender/waitress was very helpful and organized. The service was amazing. We will definitely go back when we're in the area.

For a tapas bar you will be disappointed. There's no rhyme or reason to the portion sizes and prices. Usually wine bars offer wine flights, they do not. They don't update their website so it's unreliable. The music they play is Pandora and I guess they didn't want to pay the $5.99 for commercial free so you will get commercials in between songs. They have a large screen tv that had an old guy talking but the tv is on mute. The server is one lady who was nice but has zero clue on dietary specifications. Someone who is gluten free can't just have slices of bread on a platter then taken off and someone who is vegetarian can't just pick off cooked ham in pizza. Doesn't look like we will be back.

Great tapas and wonderful ambience. Try the baked clams. Be patient with the staff. There's not enough of them.

So glad we stopped in to check it out today! The atmosphere is welcoming, cool and upbeat all at the same time. There is a cute outdoor seating option along Gulf Blvd. Good selection of libations at a reasonable price. The ceviche was excellent and a large portion. Server offered extra tortilla chips at no charge. We arrived around 5 and there was no wait. We will definitely come back and try more options!

Half of the menu unavailable. Honey prosciutto pizza had virtually no prosciutto, and was $14 for flatbread made of naan. Steak was alright but portion much smaller than what was advertised online. Worth it was the $20 bottle of wine. We were excited to check out Stans Epicurean next door, but after this experience, we're not looking forward to that. This place needs a remodel and to fix their menu to have more than 5 options available on a Tuesday. Fondue is only on Wednesday (not mentioned online menu). Very concerning business model but the test of time will tell the truth as always. Good luck, Stan needs it with this place.

Great place to enjoy a bottle of wine and small plates with my parents who are not big eaters these days. Parking was easy and convenient. Gina was so sweet and took great care of us. We tried lots of tapas and enjoyed bacon wrapped scallops and brisket bruschetta and a few others. Loved the lemon Italian cream cakes. Will definitely visit again!

Wine and tapas - nothing else needed! Great addition to Amy's local offerings. Looking forward to a Fondue Wednesday in the near future!

Lovely relaxed atmosphere for small plates. A nice choice of wine and beer. Good service.
