St. Johns Tavern

It was our first time at St. Johns Tavern and the food was amazing!!! My family and I had just come back into town after a long hike at the Homosassa Wildlife Center and wanted a good burger. The waitress Hayley got us all set and we even got a complimentary soft pretzel while we waited. My husband and I agreed it was the best soft pretzel we have ever had. Great atmosphere, attentive and friendly staff. Please go!

Great drinks and an even better smash burger. Super local bar and eatery with very friendly people. Fairly quick service and affordable.

Right on 19, at the main street of Crystal River, youll find the St.Johns Tavern. Its a neat older building that speaks to the areas history. My guy and I went here for a date night, as he remembered it differently than its current presentation, which is currently a sports bar style. I didnt mind, honestly. It has nice ambience. We ordered the chili, and though spicy, it was tasty. The service was amazing, including the shadowing waitress. While young, she was quite polite and friendly. We enjoyed the tavern as it was, but the sky was pausing in falling and it was time to go home. We will come back.

My family and I came here for lunch after visiting Three Sisters Springs. It was easy to get in and get a seat on a Sunday morning. The food was good, I wouldn't say anything great to rave about. The food took quite a long time to get to us after we placed our order. Otherwise the service was fine. Everything was fine, nothing great to rave about but also nothing really to complain about either.

Nice pub-Had the Reuben with chips and a local beer. Great sports atmosphere, pretty and friendly waitresses.

Cool place! Beautiful interior. Great service & lots of friendly smiles! Food was good. We both had special of the day. I had chicken salad wrap and homemade kettle chips. Hubby had the gumbo- Jambalaya soup. Both were great!This haven't has a full bar. I drink red wine and there were a couple of decent options.

We both had the smash burgers with homemade chips.The burgers were cooked thoroughly and was still moist and delicious. The bun was soft and the chips were crispy and tasty.Service was prompt and friendly. The bar had a good vibe to it.Overall, we enjoyed our lunch

We have eaten here several times when we are in Crystal River. I love their chili and always order a side of their in-house, homemade potato chips. Waitresses are nice as can be and our food always comes out of the kitchen piping hot. I can hardly wait to return to Crystal River and visit St John's again.

Smash burger was really good, loved the house made chips, the manatee mojito was very good, and staff was nice. Nothing overly unique about this place but they do all of the basics really well.

We had the smash burger and it didn't disappoint. Flavorful burger with tasty homemade potato chips. The service was quick even with only one waitress on. And the ambiance is very cool, plenty of brick and wood.
