Easily a tampa hidden gem. Spartaco is amazing for the vibes, a great dinner or good conversation. The food is amazing as always and spartaco is a great owner in the community.

The Basics: Spartaco's Kitchen is an authentic and delicious Italian restaurant on Davis Island serving incredible food from the Emilia Romagna region. Spartaco is such a joy to see in the restaurant and a great meal is guaranteed here! Things I like: The service and food here is top notch. The dishes are extremely fresh and unlike anything else you can get at typical Italian restaurants in Tampa. Some of my favorite dishes I tried were the Insalata di Calamari, Tagliatelle alla Bolognese, and Braciola Di Maiale Bolognese. However, everything I tried was incredible. I really appreciated that Spartaco took the time to discuss the dishes on the menu with us, including the history of the dish both within Italian cuisine and the traditions of his family. Things I didn't like: Nothing! It was all fantastic! However, keep in mind they don't take reservations and the restaurant is rather small. Overall this is one of the best Italian restaurants in Tampa Bay and a must visit for foodies in the area!

Charming spot on Davis island with an absolutely incredible menu that will transport you right to Italy! Mr. Spartaco himself runs the show and will greet you with a big smile and maybe even sing you happy birthday. The food is delicious and hand crafted. The spot is small with a handful of tables, and they operate mostly on a walk in basis, so come early if you have a big group. You won't be disappointed here!

Cute little Italian place in a strip mall, but a Davis Island strip mall, so land of the super rich strip mall! Spartacos you can dress up or be casual, offers a smaller menu of more fish-based Italian delights.We enjoyed our mealThe wine, from the tap, was paired niceService was good. Anyone who has lived in South Tampa for a while knows how great Spartaco's restaurants are. It's great to have him back and his great food. The place is small so get there early but well worth the wait. Fantastic food and the usual warm and friendly service.

Truly a gem for those that don't have decent expectations in the taste and quality of food.. I'm confused by the facts ...wealthy area , high expectations. I'm beginning to think that DI diners don't know good food .

Awesome Very Authentic Italian Cuisine - especially the owner Spartaco from Romagna Region of Italy - his hometown, greeting you when you enter making you feel at home! The food and atmosphere are awesome!

Food is always so fresh! I think this is the best italian restaurant in tampa. Amazing service, the owner always greets us and is so friendly. It's a quaint restaurant thats nice and quiet. I enjoy the restaurants that don't play loud pop music, it seems like most places in tampa do that and it's a little odd. I'm glad Spartaco is different and authentic.
