Stopped by here 9.27.24 after a Hurricane Helene and they were open for business. It was a decent sized place, but there was a wedding party so half the restaurant was blocked for their use. It was fine as we were only a party of two so we sat at the bar. The bartender served us and the food was phenomenal. His service was great. I wish I remembered his name, but he was terrific. We only got a few appetizers but the croquetas were SOOO good. Empanadas - I may prefer Mr. Empanada but everyone has their preferences.

This is a pretty good "latin" restaurant.Imagine my surprise hearing Colombian music when I arrived. I can get over that if the food feels right... It was on. Kinda expensive for what feels like imitation Spaniard food. Having lived in Spain, I wanted to believe somewhere could capture the nature of Spain in a restaurant. This wasn't it. The sangria was nice and strong though. I wish I came for the flamenco but if it was like the food ... Maybe I lucked out of the $20 cover if I wanted to see it.

This place is fantastic. Every time I go to Tampa, I stay somewhere close so I can get lunch here. Delicious mojo pork, yellow rice and beans, plantains, etc. Just delicious.

First time there. Would not go back. Acoustics do not allow for you to speak in a normal tone , especially when there is music. Ordered an old fashioned and it was cherry juice with bourbon (blah), the tapas plate of cheese and olives wax 22,00. 4 small triangles of cheese 4 small pieces of jam and about 15 olives. 22.00??? The paella was bland with shards of broken clam shells. I mean it was not good . The waiter was nice but that's it . Sorry

Ordered the mariscada en salsa verde and the filete salteado. I will say that they cooked the seafood well! However, the food was flavorless. The sauce was eating thick water. It was not good. I got a side of asparagus that was just plain. They don't even put salt and pepper on the table for me to season my food. The filete salteado was ok. The sauce was well dont but the beef was over cooked. No amount of sauce could revive the beef. The service was horrible. The waitress came and took our orders quickly but was rude. She never came back after the food was set on the table bc I would have asked for salt. Atmosphere was cool. Live music playing. However, overall bad experience. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

This place was recommended to me and has been on my list to try out. I went during happy hour to enjoy $5 beer and wine, no food on the happy hour! Now I've been to plenty of tapas restaurants and generally know the feel and price range you typically find. I was confused about this tapas place because every small plate was $15-20+. Now if it were amazing I wouldn't be as unhappy. The tortilla and paella lacked flavor big time! I really wanted to ask for salt, pepper, and hot sauce! Majorly disappointing! On the flip side they had live music but I definitely won't be retuning!

I enjoyed visiting Spain Restaurant for lunch a few weeks ago. The restaurant servers their food cafeteria style so the food is already pre-prepared at the counter and ready to serve. I had the Chicken & Yellow Rice and it was tasty. Savory rice was mixed with tender chicken and juicy peas and red peppers. Overall, this is a good spot for a quality and quick lunch.

Having visited Spain recently, I wasn't disappointed with the tapas and main dishes! From the food to the live music, I was reminded of my trip! The waiter, Ruben, from Spain did notu disappoint! He was authentic, on point with his recommendations, and a great historian of his navitve country! A taste of Spain in Tampa Bay - what a gem!

We were there on a Friday night to have dinner and listen to the music. It was an enchanting experience. We ordered Spanish wine and tapas. Ruben was very attentive and had excellent recommendations. The music was pleasant without being overpowering. The food and wine were everything we could hope for.
