Soup and Sammies

Well I was hoping to love this place as it is close and I prefer mom and pop shops. But I am hoping it was a bad day and others enjoy it. (They were flooded by the storm and it might have impacted them today)First...two sandwiches and two soups were $36 so just note this place is at the high end compared to other sandwich shops in the area. That said, it definitely was not worth it today. Potato soup was good...just gave it a little salt and pepper for personal preference. My hoagie bun was stale on one end...to the point I replaced with bread when I got home. The meat, cheese, and produce were pretty good...but for $13 I would pass. My lays chips were stale too which isn't the shops fault but goes with the experience today.

Best Tampa style Cuban without going to Tampa. Saves me a lot of trips! They are in back of the bakery that had gluten free baked goods.

My husband and I were driving around Dade City and decided to stop in for lunch. We had the Cuban sandwich and it was the best!! We met Pat and Joyce the owners and they are so friendly. Nice to support an independent mom and pop location.
