Sofrito Food Truck

What a great food truck. Absolutely delicious food. Had a few things from them. The sandwiches are awesome. But the thing you must try is the Cuban sandwich egg rolls. I'm absolutely addicted to those things. You're in the area doing some really good food you must stop here and try it. I highly recommend it.

We tried Sofrito food truck for takeout and everything was delicious. We're Puerto Rican and so we're very picky about Puerto Rican food but this place is great!

Not sure why it's taken me so long to write a review of this place, I eat here at least once a week. Tina and her crew serve up some of the best food I've ever had in South Shore. It may look like just another food truck, but there is so much more to it. You can tell there are many sophisticated food profiles within this Latin cuisine. If you stop by, you can't leave without trying the Cuban Eggroll. I am still working my way down the menu as I get stuck repeating my order on the most recent delicious menu item. Try the Carne Fitas, mojo pork, and any of the empanadas. I have yet to try the sandwiches, but I am saving those for last. All the sauces are amazing. 100% recommending to anyone looking for food in the area. Also plenty of outdoor seating shared with the other food trucks on the lot.

Thank goodness I don't live to close to here because I would weigh 800 pounds because I would eat here everyday. I had the carne frita (fried pork chunks - yeah pork and fries) over yellow rice with fried yucca (my cardiologist is not a fan right now). It was absolutely delicious. The pork was fried perfectly and the dipping sauce added even more flavor. The fried yucca was crispy on the outside and soft in the inside. I think there was a little crushed garlic on top to add to my eating pleasure.My wife had the pork rice bowl with two fried sweet plantain. That was also absolutely delish.To find Puerto Rican food this good is a rarity. I'll be back alot now that I've had my first meal here!

Has covered area to eat. Very clean. Nice people and the prices are good for the proportion. If your looking for Latin food you need to come a d try the Mofongo. The cuban sandwich was also great.

Excellent Cuban sandwich.. Flavourful fresh pork balanced with ham.. Perfectly toasted bread.. And excellent tostones

I highly recommend this food truck! After my first bite of the mojo pork sandwich I literally said, 'hell yeah!'The rice and peas transported me back to a really nice memory of eating a rice dish from a road side stand on Culebra island. Hope to return and try other items. Really nice people to boot!!

Too salty for our taste. Rice under cook and garlicky lettuce and tomato salad. The tostones were and the guava and cheese pastry were good.

I stopped for a food truck that was next to sofrito food truck but they were closed. So I decided to have lunch here, it was EXCELLENT. The empanadas, rice and beans, and tostones were unbelievable. If I weren't leaving to go back to New York I would have went again. See you next year!!!
