Snowrolls

Snowrolls is a rolled ice cream parlor located in New Tampa. There is a lot to like about it. Snowrolls offers a regular and vegan base for their ice cream. They roll each order of ice cream right in front of you after it is ordered. They have a large number of ingredients that can be mixed in to the ice cream. A number of these options are also vegan. Snowrolls even has a dairy free whipped cream. While Snowrolls has a number of suggested menu items on the board, I usually select the create my own option. Snowrolls is great for young kids. They have a shelf to the left of the entrance that has games, Snowrolls coloring sheets and crayons and even a model car that my soon to be two year old would not put down during our entire visit.So with all this good, why only three stars? While Snowrolls is good at what they do, their rolled ice cream style isn't something I would seek out on a regular basis. I prefer the creamy, hand dipped ice cream style. My daughter seems to have this same reaction as she only ate one bite of her ice cream during our last visit. Snowrolls is also pretty expensive compared to other vegan ice cream options in the area.All in all, Snowrolls seems good at what they do and I'm excited they brought their rolled ice cream to New Tampa. You just won't find me going out of my way to eat their style of ice cream.

Very unique and cute ice cream shop!! They set the ingredients on a freezing plate, chop it up, flatten it out, then roll it up!! I got the brownie & had to try their caramel iced coffee. Delicious! They also offer açaí bowls and other types of coffee!! Tip: hours of operation are noon to either 9 and until 10 on Saturdays

This an average Roll ice cream store. I have better on other places. With that said. I have to give them credit on the only one in New Tampa right now which we don't need to drive too far to have one. This is only base in the roll ice cream. They have many item such crepe choco Coro new item and Acai. This items was not reviewed. Base on their roll ice cream, the selection is good. But the toppings is little. The charge is high. We have the on snow in the assembly menu. The toppings are chocolate roll cookies and top with coconut flakes. The ice cream is creamy than other roll ice cream. Which is a good thing. I only don't like the pricing and so little toppings. Overall experience is good. I would give them at average among the same business. However, I do want to try their crepe. It look interesting.

Our first time here but appears to be a good selection of really tasty treats. The acai bowl was especially refreshing on this hot day. We will be back :)

Went here tonight to check it out! I waited a few weeks to let the crowd die down a bit as since each order is made fresh it can take awhile if there's a line. We lucked out tonight & walked right up to the counter to order! I think the pouring down rain helped us avoid a crowd.Price is a tad higher than comparable places by about 1.00 I also noticed that syrups aren't free (they are at the comparable place)The icecream makers were very nice & take pride in their work. They put on a little show for the kids drawing pictures with the mixers before mashing & making the rolls.The icecream was good, creamy. I had Nucoco and the kids had banana split & chocolate with brownie.I just have one complaint the dine in area needs more attention. It wasn't even very busy yet every table was dirty. I looked for the cashier to ask for a rag & she disappeared into the back every chance she got. When I mentioned it to one of the ice cream makers He apologized & came out to clean the area. I honestly feel like the cashier should of handled that for them while they make the dessert.

I took my nephew to Snowrolls because he never tried rolled ice cream before. The place was average. The girl behind the counter ruined my experience from the moment we entered. No smile, just stared at us, didn't ask if we needed help or if we had ever been there before...super awkward considering we were the only customers in there. We order something chocolatey. She made us a cool design when making our ice cream which I appreciated for my nephews sake. Tastewise, it was mediocre. We ate the counter and sat on stools. When I turned around to throw out our trash the girl was still staring at us. SO WEIRD!

If your looking for decent ice cream, at a clean establishment with a uniqueness in the way they make the ice cream, check this place out. It is Thai inspired in the sense that they make your ice cream by pouring the cream base on an extremely cold surface (think a very cold round grill top) and mixing it all up, and presenting your ice cream in rolls; as opposed to scopes. The ice cream ends up looking cool and the kids will think it's cool (simply because it's different); but overall, it will taste like any other ice cream you buy at the grocery store. We tried to different ones: Cookie Dough and Brownie. All in all, what we expected flavor wise..nothing spectacular. Looking for a unique ice cream experience give this place a shot--butIt won't be the best ice cream you eve ever had and there are better places within 5 miles.

The ice cream is delicious and it tastes fresh. Also love the way it is prepared and served - it's very appealing to the eye. The price is affordable. I highly recommend this business.

What a neat place! We got the mint, peanut butter, s'mores and banana split. It is a lot of fun for the kids as they get to watch it being made and this is very entertaining. I really feel bad for the employees and their hands - def hard work!I wouldn't say the ice cream itself is anything special or the best but when mixed with toppings and the fact it's different, it makes it well worth the visit. Prices were about average as other ice cream shops. I'd recommend giving it a shot especially is bringing children along. Prepare for a good amount of time as it does take a good minute.

Very disappointing... my family and i drove 20 minutes over here to try rolled ice cream, online it says they close at 9. We walked in at 8:34, and they lady was closing down the ice cream shop and said that she was no longer serving anyone. After all my years in the restaurant industry, never have I seen somewhere close down 30 minutes early. Even if it was a mistake on the hours posted online... still, very disappointing.
