4 Aces here. Food, service, ambience all great. Always a stop when in Plant City. BBQ Pork and brisket was really good. Don't miss it.

We discovered Smokin' Aces a few years ago, simply trying to find a restaurant near Sir Henry's Haunted Trail. It quickly became a favorite with our group, and is now a tradition for us when in this area. The food is always delicious!Sometimes I just get a bunch of sides because they're so good. My favorites are their mac & cheese, collard greens, and fried okra. But I also really like their grits, green beans, & corn nuggets. Some of our group loves the fried mushrooms, wings, & onion rings, because I've seen them order those repeatedly. For meats, I've enjoyed their BBQ pork, catfish, mahi mahi, BBQ chicken, & grouper, and all have been tasty. Hubs has never complained about his meals, so that's notable, too. Both of us always have leftovers because the portion sizes are more than enough.Smokin' Aces has a good selection of beers, including some semi local brews. Prices are great, too. But they do not serve hard liquor; it's beer & wine only.Service is great, and we never have a long wait. Parking is plentiful, too. I can't wait to go back for more of their sides!

This place was a recommendation from a customer of mine. The food was what I had expected. The wings had that Smokey flavor that I liked. The made from scratch onion rings were also tasty. The corn fridders are always yummy. I'm not sure of her name but the older lady was very hospitable. The establishment had a different outside appeal than the inside. The inside was inviting. The outside had a confused parking. Overall it's a gem. I will return and maybe dine

Yum.Came here enroute across the state after a fun day at Busch gardens. Called ahead to see if still serving (we would get there at 8). All systems a go, so GPS got us there.Our server, Taylor, was awesome. Told her I would be writing this review! Super friendly, was on top of everything.Bunch if IPAs on tap so she kindly let us sample them. My wife and I picked two great ones.We were hangry..time to get to business. Wife and I shared the Royal Flush Sammy (like a pound of meet w great bread and coleslaw)...went to town on this. Great collard greens for the side.The teenagers each had a pulled pork bbq sammy. One had garlic mashed potatoes, other had corn nuggets. Both just hit the spot.Family size portion of mac and n cheese which was a hit. No swimming in a ton of cheese, was great.I'm going back!

EXCELLENT LOCAL JOINT! Hubby and I ate with a certified BBQ judge and we were all highly satisfied! 2 of us ordered Brisket sandwiches with Cole slaw, Corn nuggets and French fries. Plus BBQ wings which were PHENOMENAL! The BBQ judge ordered Pulled pork on a Caesar salad. Sounds crazy but it's actually delicious! The service was terrific and the atmosphere is very causal and comfortable.

Terrible food. Dry hard ends of meat. Cold fries. Cold mashed potatoes. Not even what I ordered. I got to go. BBQ condiment container was not closed. Had BBQ in car, on clothing. Called and was hinv up on. Customer service is as terrible as the order that I didn't order. WILL NEVER TRY AGAIN!!

This is literally 30 seconds from my new job site, so i had to try it. Nice little place across from stingray chevy in plant city. They have been around since 2015 i think, so it is time. I got ribs, brisket, mac n cheese, & collards. The ribs were the star, great flavor, moist, and delicious without sauce. The sweet sauce was good but not my style. The brisket was alright as was the mac n cheese. Collards were tasty. I tried the bbq beans and they had meat in them... fantastic. Garlic mash was ok needs butter. They have outdoor dining, and a screened in porch to wait for your table. It was already filling up on a Thursday, so come early. I will be going a lot during the next year. I love the ribs. If you're near plant city maybe hitting the strawberry fastival save some room for ribs.

Wow! A true, hole in the wall, authentic bbq joint. A delicious variety of meats, sauces and brews. I don't have many reasons to visit this area, but I will definitely make it a point to go back!

For the first visit here, very pleased overall. Thank goodness for my Map system in the car as the building and roadside sign are sort of non-descript, so not sure I would have found the place without the Map system.This is Old Florida BBQ that I grew up with and love. The smokiness of the dining room let you know the flavors you'd be eating. Our waitress exuded Southern Charm(sorry didn't catch her name. I attached our photo so she may recognize us) and the food was comforting and filling. She made sure my brother got his Military discount as well!We both got the Player's Choice with three meats. I had great smoked wings, good ribs and pulled pork that I thought was good, but was expecting more. The collards took me back to Granny's table as did the fried okra. Sweet tea complimented the meal and we had great service. The waitress recommended the Banana Pudding Cake which we split. It was a great way to end the meal.I would certainly go and enjoy a meal here again.

What a wonderful find. I thank the Yelpers out there- WONDERFUL recommendation. I don't usually eat at bbq places since I am married to the BEST grill master ever! However, I took a chance and WOW!!! When you go to a bbq joint and don't even want the sauce because the meat is so well done- that's the right joint. Everything was delicious, right down to the strawberry crunch cake. The ambiance is perfect for the food. There is indoor seating , screened in patio seating and outdoor picnic table seating. The wait wasn't long but I could see a long line at peak times. I noticed there was a food truck outside and if you can't make it to the restaurant I hope the truck will travel and you can try it. Great service and although I was a bit skeptical- I'm sold now!!! Next time I won't drive myself so I can enjoy a beer with my bbq!
