Smitty's Smokehouse & Grill

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat on our way home back to Clearwater and so glad we did! The food was absolutely delicious! I got the smoked chicken salad sandwich and boy was it yummy. You could really taste the smoked flavor and the lettuce and tomato were nice and fresh. Hubby got the big breakfast sandwich and again it was so good. Everything is nice and fresh. Inside is just your typical diner but I gotta give five stars for the flavor and service. Great place to grab breakfast or lunch for sure!

First time visiting here over the weekend and it did not disappoint. Stopped in after shopping in the plaza! Lots of seating and did not have to wait on a Friday night. Ordered rib platters, pulled pork platter, and the ribeye steak with a few sides. The ribeye was DELISH. Had that really nice char grilled taste to it and cooked perfectly to temp. Food did take quite a while to come out but of course we were willing to wait for good food. Service was good and we will definitely be back for that ribeye!

The building and sign are NOT symbolic of the food. It's a fabulous place to eat and we love, love, love the Smitty's big burger. They were recently sold, so we had to go to see if the same delicious burgers would be served. Sure enough, they were juicy, with the bun grilled, all the toppings (cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles with ketchup and mustard and mayo available on the side) were still there! I'm one happy camper! The rest of the family love, love, love the grilled pork chop sandwich. It appeared to be just as delicious as before! Thank you, Smitty's! The kids like to order breakfast at supper, so it's a nice change of pace for them, and they love the fried okra!

Outstanding food and service. Everything from breakfast to dinner. Great burgers and the po Boy was a nice New Orleans treat. When we are in Dade City, it's iu new to go to place.

Smitty's is under new management so we stopped to give it a try. Be sure to check the hours not yet updated as of todayApril 2,2023It's 6-3 Sunday-Thursday and 6-8pm Friday and Saturday My granddaughter and I both ordered the pulled pork sandwiches on garlic bread with french fries, very delicious, tender and hot. French fries were just amazing crispy golden brown couldn't decide which one to eat first. But once you picked up the sandwich, it seemed like there was no putting it down. Lol. The staff was so friendly and attentive and I think first time I've ever been to a restaurant they didn't wait until you got the food in your mouth to come. Ask if you needed anything else big plus, how many times have you been somewhere that they wait and see you take a bite and then ask you if you need anything or how it was and your mouth is full. Lol. The place is very clean. Service was speedy. Definitely be back again I understand that I believe the cooks name was Matt is an excellent cheesesteak connoisseur. I'll try that next time. In the mood for a road side dinner (greasy spoon) ? This place will fit the bill. Nothing fancy about the place but the food is good and plentiful. Solid breakfast place. At times the place is really crowded and with only a couple servers it might take a bit but other times service is quick and food is good. Been here several timeS and my experiences have all been fine. Only turn around and left due to the wait times for a table. Food is hot and tasty.

BBQ pulled pork was excellent as well as the Smoked Chicken salad sandwich. Smitty's never fails to please.

Everything could improve as we were really disappointed. Food was overpriced for what we received and waitress wouldn't stop talking so we could eat our meal. Maybe that was the idea because the food was mediocre at best very fatty ribs and tough! Sonny's is much better!

No flavor Over priced No smell of barbecue whatsoever just the smell of old dustiness. The burger doesn't even have fries that come with it. It's ridiculous.

To be honest, everything we had ordered didn't meet up to our standards. I wouldn't recommend the food we had got to anyone. Not only was our bland and dry, some of it was very hard to chew. The service was okay but she had lied saying that our ribs were going to fall off the bone... it was sticking on for it's life.
