Oh my skyway Jax! I can't tell you enough how much I love this place- so much so that I think I've written a review about them before, but I had to give him another one.It's always a friendly atmosphere when you walk into the spot,- a little off the beaten path so well worth the drive. My friend and I had corned beef hash, eggs over medium with potatoes and also the shrimp and grits. I've been craving both of these meals for the last 48 hours, I don't know what got into me! Skyway Jax never disappoints- the grits were cheesy and creamy and melted in my mouth the shrimp season to Southern perfection. I asked for my corned beef hash to be crispy and it was perfect even the eggs perfect temperature at medium. Bottomless cup of coffee, too - sign me up This is my go to breakfast spot in St Pete Number one Nobody better for breakfast or lunchYum

Skyway Jacks is a solid breakfast spot. If you're an early bird and like to beat the rush, this place opens super early. Service has always been friendly and done with a smile.The last two times we've been they actually have 1/2&1/2 for coffee. Before that it was that reconstituted chemical stuff and I'm not drinking that. First of all it's terrible in my coffee and it's also terrible for you. Kudos for finally get it. People want the real thing in their coffee.I've never had anything but a good breakfast here so I don't understand all the detractors and negative comments. Nor do I find the place dirty like one person said.In the end, I recommend it.

Where else can you get a great breakfast in a kitschy, wonky, unique classic diner dive in St Pete? Who cares?! Come here for the classic fun happy egg sculpture outside!Come here for the prominent sign that says "Home of the 1 star Yelp review! For not cutting our toast diagonal!"Come here for the crazy unique coffee cups. No two are alike. Stopped in here on my last day in FL, I have heard great things about the breakfast and had to try! Let's say what I heard was correct- the eggs were perfect and my waffle was amazing. It's definitely your whole in the wall type place, the tables were a bit sticky/not very clean and the waitress kept asking us what we ordered. But overall- yummy! I'd be back!

This is the most quaint little place in Saint Petersburg. You have to hit this for good hometown food eggs Benedict to skillets to salads. It's all amazing. Your food will be to your table in three shakes of a lamb's tale for sure. The people are friendly. T-shirts are adorable. Simply amazing. We highly recommend.

Just your typical "hey honey" type diner. Breakfast wasn't memorable. Went with pancakes and bacon. Neither were great or terrible. Coffee was average. Service was ok. Nothing at all really stands out... except they celebrate bad reviews on the wall. So maybe I'll be famous after posting this one. If you're up super early, that seems to be the draw. It's the only place open. It's this place or McDonald's. Might as well support local right?

We eat there frequently. It's a wonderfully funky old school restaurant with no frills UNLESS you count amazing staff and fabulous food and tons of regulars as a plus. Best sausage gravy ever. Inventive dishes and fresh coffee. It's a neighborhood place even if you don't live nearby.

Ask for Madelyn also. So now Bri ,Taylor and Madelyn . One star-all the way . Hobo soup and porkchop are way to go

Another stapler of the community. Great food and friendly nice atmosphere. We have been coming here for years. The previous owners were great and food also. The new owner had kept the same great food. Pancakes are my favorite. Moist, sweet batter (not to sweet) and no maple syrup that's not watered down to go with them. Today I enjoyed the shrimp and grits. I ordered my shrimps blackened. They were cooked perfectly. It also had tomatoes and mushrooms grilled and full of flavor. I'm a gravy person for grits so would have a liked a little more sauce to it but over all the meal was really good and a lot. So definitely a place I recommend, even if you get the toast and it's not sliced diagonally. Jeannie our waitress was very nice.

Excellent service but you need to go after the breakfast crowd. Love all the Steeler Terrible Towels hanging from the ceiling. I enjoyed the crab eggs Benedict and the cinnamon roll pancakes that were so yummy.
