Sky Puppy Brewing

What attention to detail!If I've learned anything from over the 200+ breweries that I have visited each one is unique. I don't know if the name "Sky Puppy Brewing " threw me off, but let me say that I was definitely pleasantly surprised. The service, the craft beer and decor were amazing....kudos!Even the restrooms are aesthetically pleasing....I mean we all have to go ;). Cheers!!

Brewery Review - Name: Sky Puppy Brewing - Beer: The One Who Gathers- Helles 5% ABV- Aesthetics- Dark, artsy, converted firehouse, excellent attention to detail - Service: Top notch, from the second we walked in we were promptly greeted and helped- Chairs: Very nicely padded benches, and expensive looking wooden chairs - Bathroom: Classy, dark green tile w/ black accents. This place is Crazy! Incredible ambiance, our bartender Ceci was incredibly friendly and gave us a rundown on the story behind the building and how the brewery came to life! What a cool place, and the selection of beer is out of this world. We had the "out of the strawberry meadow" and the "grim interest" to start and I'd drink either of those daily. This is a great place to meet with friends you haven't seen in a while or to bring family that's visitng the area, a prime example of Tampa's premier night life.

The beer is really great and the owners are delightful. The space is well thought out- it feels like you're going in a cave which is really fun with the bat theme. The bat tap handles are my favorite. As someone who brings my kid to breweries, the vibe is classier than some of the other local breweries. We stick to more date nights than family outings here.

New spot new open in Ybor City. I really love the stouts here, but honestly all the beer is good and the staff is so friendly. The prices are fair and the ambiance inside couldn't be better. Definitely have to come back here at night sometime. I love the theme with bats. Recommend!

What a nice find...different than the average brewery. A unique atmosphere and great beers! Well done!

while tampa has lost a couple breweries over the last 3-4 years, sky puppy more than replaces them. outstanding range of styles and all exceedingly well done. the pils and lagers crisp and clean including a malty dunkel. the sweet stout w/ peanuts was my favorite, not too sweet or syrupy like some of the other famous desert stout maker on Florida. the decor is fantastic, lots of small details like the bronze bat tap heads. the art glass in the alcove above the brick archway leading to the production area. Matt, the co-owner with his wife Danielle was kind enough to show me the production area. we wish them a long and storied presence on 8th street in Ybor.

Very unique spot. Owners are hand on and willing to explain the different selections and make sure you get something you love. The vibe was very cool and the artwork was a very neat touch. Overall a wonderful accidental find. The sours and dark pours were both exceptional. We will definitely come back next time we are in Ybor.

Cool spot! Definitely not your standard brewery but it works. Very champing! I would visit again.

Stopped here on a whim (because of the cool name!) with my hubby when we were in the area. REALLY cool space and great beers! We like both ends of the beer spectrum - sours and stouts. We tried two of each (tropical and berry sours and brunch and peanut/almond stouts)- all were delicious!!
