Skinnys *always* has the cold beer or mixer you need, in a hurry and for a super reasonable price. The atmosphere changes from day to night in a great way, and it can be a really, really good time. There's a particular bartender i remember from years ago that was a bar back I believe. He's clearly moved up and knows exactly what he's doing when it is totally packed. Always collected and calm with something nice to say WITH EYE CONTACT, despite what's happening around him. That's notable. I wanna say Cody or Corey...I am so sorry. He's been there a hundred years and always has a kind, non-creepy, familiar face with a smile waiting for ya. All the stars. Check their Facebook page too. It stays up to date on bands and specials. *I haven't had the food except fries but I've heard it's ridic amaze.

I've now been to skinny's twice; sitting outside once and inside once. Both times I've been there has been a ton of regulars. They have live music every Saturday and Sunday as well as daily specials. For food, it's a bar food menu with a few surprises; specifically the oysters. Both time I've had the cooked oysters and both times they have been good. Oyster rockafella and the garlicky ones. The other ideal iced had both times is the pork rinds that are cooked fresh. I LOVE fresh pork rinds so this is def a win for me. The portions are a good size enough to share with apps. The service is a bit slow as is the food coming out of the kitchen so you might need some patience and to glad die the waitress. For me this place is about listening to live music and grabbing a bite to eat while there. Not going for the food and then enjoying the music. I will go back and check out different bands. Clam chowder is home made, with a lighter broth, not super thick. Has a nice amount of potatoes and clams. We would order this again The lobster bisque is not home made. It is think and has the right flavors. It is more of a puree as there are not large chunks of lobster in it.

Great little Dive bar . Very loud well it was Friday at 7 pm . This establishment has an out side area with live bands . Skinny's is definitely about the drinking , people watching and partying . Food is Ok it is straight up bar food lots of fried . Oysters were very good after you took 3/4 of batter off . Fried Ravioli was as good as anybody's. If you wanna listen to live music and drink it is definitely a fun place .. Server was a good guy . He did what was asked of him in a pretty busy atmosphere ..

Food was great service was awesome drinks were good and strong. Burger was cooked to perfection. Long Island tea was just right. Philly cheese was on point couldn't eat it all.

Been to skinny's 2 times in one week. What sets this place apart from the other dozens of local bars around the Hudson/NPR area is the service is outstanding-they are always busy but always attentive and timely. Every body hustles and ensures your drinks/food are delivered timely. As for the food-some of the items like the fish n chips-while good had an exceptionally thick crust-break that off and the fish is very good-shrimp basket is one of the best around. Prices are very good and we plan on going there more. The one complaint is the music-loud-screaming-head banging-great if you are into it-horrible if you want to carry on a conversation. Our solution, as we were leaving is the back outside area is quiet, plenty of seating and a whole different experience. Do not be discouraged by the full parking lot-once you park you will not have a problem finding seating.

Local beer hall that is always full and has good burger and excellent beer selection. At night it has music in the back area (Skinner type of music). Parking is on the service road off of US-19. Always full.

Love this place! Good food and cool atmosphere. Live bands play outside.. def a local dive bar.. has pool tables and touch tunes! Great service!

Great atmosphere. Live bands outside were really fun. Tons of regulars. Waitstaff is nice and friendly. Food is good. We got some baked oysters and loaded fries. Would go back again for sure

Skinnys used to be my favorite place but I have been disappointed the last 3 times I visited. All three times the kitchen has messed up the order, and they never apologized one time. The last time I told the girl and she , huffed and took the food away. I understand things happen, but apologize and try to make it right.

What happened to the friendly waitresses! Good lord almost had to beg for service. If it wasn't for the one bartender we would have left.
