This place is absolutely adorable! We didn't sit outside because of the weather, but the seating area is adorable. We ordered a BLT with an E on an everything bagel fully loaded, with a side of home fries with onions and peppers, and a three egg omelette with spinach, mushrooms, onions, tomato, with a side of home fries with onions and peppers, and white toast. The spicy Bloody Mary and regular Blood Mary were super yummy. Perfect ratio of Old Bay to rim. Our server was lovely, and the entire staff was so friendly! Can't wait to go back.

This is an adorable quaint restaurant in the heart of Hernando Beach. The outside sitting area has the amazing outdoor feeling. I have been here in the past for breakfast but this is the first for dinner. The food does not disappoint. However make sure to bring extra spending money as the gift shop has many different things to choose from including salt water taffy and fudge.A recommendation as well, bring cash as there is a 3.99% discount for cash compared to credit cards.

Cute roadside restaurant on the water. Friendly staff and a variety of delicious foods on the menu. Great clam chowder and tasty sandwiches.

This is an eclectic little restaurant has outdoor seating with beautiful views of a small canal draped with native Florida foliage & wildlife. It almost has a "land before time" type of feel to it. We stopped for breakfast and we were pleased with the food, though the service was very slow. I can't blame our server, who was friendly and lively. They were just ridiculously short on staff. Also made note of the fact that at the checkout counter, there were at least a dozen camera screen throughout what wasn't that large of a restaurant. Not sure what the deal was with that but it's hardly a place you'd think would suffer a lot of theft or crime. Because of that and also the slowwwww service I couldn't give the Dolphin better than 3 stars.

We just had dinner here as a group of 10 people. Our server did the best job she could.I and the blackened chicken Greek salad and the boss had blackened haddock tacos.My chicken was grilled and not blackened. The tomatoes were really mushy.My wife said here tacos were good with the exception of having too much sauce.The biggest problem was we got our food in four waves. 2 in the first wave, 6 in the second wave, 2 in the third wave and the salad for the last order after everyone ate in the fourth wave.I know our server was doing her best. Getting our orders so randomly and long wait intervals for getting our food was terrible.With the food quality and the service, I would not come back.

Great food, kind server, great prices! Eat outdoors though. We were in for dinner and Fox News on 75" screens trying to scare old people indoors really kills the vibe. Any sports channel would have gotten that fifth star. The front of the place is an eclectic store with awesome sweets, fudge, and ice cream. It's also part of the surveillance state as there are massive TVs showcasing the plethora of cameras coving the property. Overall great place with a weird vibe.

Went there for lunch after the art fair. Busy and we needed to wait a few for a table for 3.We were able to get a table outside overlooking water. Then the wait started. We waited over 30 minutes while a waitress looked at us but never stopped. (Come to find out that she was our waitress ). Husband finally goes up to the front to get someone.We place an order for drinks. And wait, and wait and wait. We get them but we order food. Nothing that would take a bunch of time a scramble, a fruit plate and a caprese salad. We wait. Would have ordered another drink but no waitress. Food comes, still hot. Everything is delicious and had a great presentation. Sadly waitstaff needs a bit of help.

What a great spot! It may look like nothing fancy from the outside but the food here is great! We sat outside even though it was windy as we wanted to see the Turtles in the water. The fish taco was one of the best I have had and they came with fries those double coated Fries. The flavor and dressing on those tacos were perfect! The clam chowder was homemade and the cup was a generous portion nd had celery in it too- TIm, gotta have celery in your soup! The servers are kind and helpful. The bar looks like a good spot for a drink after work. They offer daily specials. Today was buy a bloody Mary or mimosa and get one half price. We did not get one but we were tempted!

My friend ordered the turkey dinner for lunch, as it was placed on table it looked unedible mashed potatoes on top were spread over entire meal,turkey was completely covered, looked horrible, friend said it was nt fresh turkey, looked and tasted like cold cuts, also had a funky smell, finally sent it back.2 others had shrimp tacos, they were delicious , served with mango drizzle, potato salad was delicious.This was my second try, sorry won't be back.

I'm just posting this to include pictures of the breakfast menu. I figured the ones here were okd.As background, this place is our "go-to" place when we can't decide what we want to eat. A large lunch/dinner menu with LOTS of choices.This morning, I had a wrap, and for a side .... BAKED BEANS! Where else in Spring Hill (for that matter, in all of the South) can you find "Boston" Baked Beans as a side? My Primary Care Doctor would be thrilled that I'm eating lentils instead of homefries!As usual, great food and service.And as aside, they sat me in a great little table for two by the patio door (it was raining, so stayed in their covered patio today). It was away from the hustle and noise of the booths; nice and quiet.
