This place used to have the best Thai food a couple years back. After reopening, I wanted to see if that was still the case so my friends and I stopped in to try out the lunch specials. Portions were big and flavors were good enough for us to come back a second time to try their dinner menu. We got the following:PAD SEE EW - this is my usual go-to dish when dining at Thai restaurants. This place made it very well - just the right amount of charred-ness, great flavor, and noodle:veg:meat ratio. Highly recommend this one.PAD KRAPOW (GAI SAP) - another one of my go-to dishes when dining Thai. I always order mine extra spicy. They definitely delivered with this one. Loved all the flavors and highly recommend as well.PANANG CURRY - I don't often get this because we make it at home so much, but I wanted to try out one of their curry dishes. It wasn't too sweet, really good flavor, but it was loaded with veg and barely any protein.PAPAYA SALAD - I ordered mine Lao style as the server said the kitchen was capable of doing because Thai style is too bland for my taste. Turns out the kitchen was not capable of making it Lao style as it was still very much bland for me. If you want Lao style papaya salad, this isn't the place. If you want Thai styled "som tom", this might be for you.SHRIMP SALAD - was supposed to be yum shrimp salad, but it was 3 pieces of shrimp on top of some veg. I would skip on this.Overall, I wouldn't say that Sila serves the BEST Thai food in the area anymore, but it definitely can satisfy a craving. I would definitely come back and try some of their dishes that normal Thai restaurants don't serve such as Guay Jap, Khao Soi and the Yentafo.

YUM-YUM....first visit and the food and service was "fab"! Honestly, authentic cuisine, helpful upbeat waitstaff, great variety in menus, sushi, thai decent portions for the price and delicious tasting food. Starter was the steamed dumpling - not your standard packaged style...these dumpling wrappers tasted different, like from scratch. Then off to the entree's....Pad Snow Peas and off the "real" Thai menu, a recommended dish highlighting the crispy pork belly...it was insanely delicious! ( you have to ask for the chili's and hot chili oil -4 options) provide a way to up the heat to perfection. We loved every aspect of our meal... such a pleasant experience. We will be back. *Plenty of off-street parking

I am ready to crown Sila as the best Thai food in Tampa Bay. I took my family on a recommendation from my Thai colleague. The space is cozy but they had no problem seating us right away for a weekend dinner. We started off with veggie eggrolls. Crispy, fresh, hot, excellent. The Tom Ka soup was probably the best I've had. Our measuring stick for Thai restaurants is always a noodle dish; my wife was very pleased with her Pad See Ew. For my entree, I went with my colleague's recommendation and tried something new. The crispy pork with basil sauce was incredible. I got it hot (after our server gently suggested "thai hot" might not be in my best interest). The pork was maybe a little crispier than I preferred but that's probably a function of me not being used to the dish. For dessert we had the coconut rice with mango. What an awesome way to finish off the meal. The soft rice was topped with beans and a salty sauce, subtly sweet but much less so than a standard American dessert. Overall, an excellent meal. The service was wonderful, everyone was so friendly. There is so much of the menu that I want to explore, I only wish they were on our side of the bay. When I want Thai food done right, I will be back.

If you're looking for authentic Thai food in Tampa- look no further!! I've been to Sila in the past and everything is delicious!! We visited recently and found out their restaurant caught on fire a few years ago and they just finished remodeling. They have an extensive menu!! One menu includes all the classics that we know and love (pad Thai, pad se ew, fried rice) and another menu displaying authentic Thai dishes!!We loved their pad Thai (not too dry and not too wet, not overly tamarind sweetness and good smoke flare)! Their papaya salad (crunchy pork) with sticky rice was delicious and perfectly spiced.Highly recommend supporting local delicious businesses like Sila.

Best Thai food in Saint Pete. The reason that I said, this place is the best is because they have sushi, Thai food, and a traditional Thai menu. We have tried food from the traditional menu and the regular Thai menu, and the food was great. The food was hot, and the service is wonderful. The only downside about this restaurant is that it is near Pinellas Park and there is nothing sexy around the restaurant. The restaurant also serves alcohol and there is free parking so this is an easy restaurant to go to with a group of friends.

The Pad Thai is excellent, with the right amount of sourness and sweetness. The green curry tasted really good, I wish it had more chicken meat though. The Thai Iced Tea was good too, my husband loved it, I liked the taste but it was too sweet for me.

Ordered Pork Pad Thai through uber eats . Asked for extra sauce on the side and didn't mind paying for it I got extra sauce but in the pad Thai. It was packaged poorly so leaked everywhere. The dish was bland ! Had to doctor it up! Huge order but I threw away most of it as the noodles got soggy due to the extra sauce Will never order here again

We ate at this restaurant several years ago & were underwhelmed. We knew they had undergone a remodel & happened to be staying in Pinellas Park for a few days, so decided to try it again. The remodel had not improved the experience. Sadly, the Red Curry was worst I ever had. The spices were lackluster & didn't blend well at all. I've had Red Curry in many places, including CO & this paled in comparison. Very poor showing. Don't bother with this place. My husband used the restroom & he said the hallway leading to it & the restroom itself was filthy. Big hint that I should have taken note of:When you enter a place at 6:30pm on a Friday & it's nearly empty, you know you've made a bad choice.
