Shrimp Boat Grill

Shrimp Boat never lets me down! I always dive into my food the moment it arrives, which means I forget to take pictures every time. This restaurant is truly a gem, and one of my favorite places to dine. I absolutely love it!Their house bread is dangerously addictive--it's so delicious!Here are some of my favorite dishes:Coconut Shrimp: My absolute favorite! The shrimp are huge, and the pineapple dipping sauce is so good I wish I could take a bottle home.Caesar Salad: Fresh and generously sized.Blackened Salmon with Au Gratin Potatoes: Packed with flavor and perfectly cooked.Stuffed Shrimp with Cheesy Grits: A must-try!The service here is consistently great. Even when it's busy, I've never had to wait too long. The space is nice and roomy, making it a comfortable dining experience.Next time (because there will be a next time), I'll try to remember to take pictures! Until then, I highly recommend checking out Shrimp Boat, even if you don't live in the Riverview area.

Super disappointing experience at the shrimp boat. Service was rather slow, drinks took almost 20min to come out. We were told it was way busier than normal on a Tuesday, however the restaurant didn't seem very booked.The bisque was really gross, and after not eating it, the waiter didn't even ask if there was anything wrong with it. The specialty margarita was pretty gross as well, made with cheap tequila. The bread smelled better than it tasted, but probably the best part of the meal. The salmon with Brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes was overly fishy, potatoes were flavorless and lumpy, and the Brussel sprouts tasted mayonnaisey. Probably won't be back, this just didn't hit the mark in any capacity.

The food was not up to standard and very subpar for the pricing. I got the stuffed flounder, however my meal and a bit greasy and dry, if that is even a thing. Quality goes a long way.

It's just ok. Nothing spectacular about this place. Honestly I feel it's over priced and food was alright. Nothing outstanding to report but they are average. Staff seemed to be preoccupied and did not seem to care about the customers.

Went for lunch with my wife and had shrimp over fried rice. Its presentation was very good and tasted delicious. Both of our plates. Came out hot and in a timely manner. Our servers were friendly and made sure we had what we needed always checking in. The menu was easy reading not a lot of food that doesn't make sense which made for a quick order. Will come again for dinner.

Food is good but not plentiful for price. Usually good friendly service. Good location with ample parking.

The service was excellent and the martinis were delicious. The Happy Hour is a must-have if you are in the area. Our waiter Rocko was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. This is my new favorite place to eat. Thank you Shrimp Boat for a very pleasant dining experience.

We've been dining at the Shrimp Boat since they first opened. We enjoy coming here for special occasions and visited recently for my husband's 60th birthday. Food and service is always excellent.

Not a good experience on Thanksgiving. My husband and I ordered the traditional Thanksgiving dinner, and it was terrible! Some kind of bland turkey loaf,and it was difficult to determine what the other items on our plates were. They were a salty, yucky mess. We did recognize the mashed potatoes, which tasted okay. The appetizer and dessert were good but the entree was the worst I've ever had.I like The Shrimp Boat. It usually has great food. But don't go on Thanksgiving!
