Got into Tampa early for a cruise. Wanted something to do within walking distance to the port looked up saw this coffee shop was open. My husband ordered an espresso my sister and I order teas and a sandwich and oatmeal. Everything was well made. Staff was super friendly. We had 2 hours to burn so we were charging our devices. After the first hour I went to order another coffee, the shop is pretty packed at this point and the staff remembered my name from my first order. Anytime that happens I know the staff cares about their customers. Next time we are in Tampa will definitely come by again. Looking forward to our next visit.

While walking down Water Street in Tampa, we came across a Shortwave Coffee cart and were impressed by its setup. Curious to try it, we decided to order coffee. In addition to their regular menu, Shortwave also offers a seasonal coffee selection. From the available options, we ordered: Iced Latte, Lavender LatteOur coffees were prepared quickly, and both drinks were fantastic. The Iced Latte was smooth and well-balanced, while the Lavender Latte had a delightful touch, making it a unique and enjoyable choice. The coffee was refreshing and the perfect post-brunch drink.

Visited this weekend with impeccable timing for a cruise to be embarking so they were slammed. I was concerned but they moved along quickly! The jalapeño bagel egg sandwich was good and I really enjoyed my mocha latte and pour over. Decor is cool and plenty of seating. Two private restrooms so expect wait when they are super busy. Complimentary water was nice. Paid parking down the road with a short walk, no free parking that I'm aware of.

Incredible coffee spot located right down the block from Sparkman's Wharf. I was pleasantly surprised to see the many options there were. My favorite were the pour overs and the mint May Day. The pour over options included coffee from Ethiopia, Yemen, Brazil and others. The pastries are always spot on too. I tried the pistachio loaf and the gluten free cinnamon roll. Both were delicious and full of flavor. Service is always excellent, plenty of seating inside and outside and great prices. Gem of a spot.

Short wave coffee is about to be my new work spot! The café is big with plenty coffee, tea and food options. Service was quick. I went early in the morning and pretty much had the café to myself. I ordered avocado toast and tea and it was delicious. I love how much space is in the coffee shop because not everyone is sitting on top of each other to work.

I absolutely love trying new coffee shops, and this one was another hit. This is close to Channel side in Tampa Bay area and it's perfect to walk to if you're in that area. The inside was so nice and decorated and open with a good amount of lighting that sets a happy tone. The ladies were super helpful in helping me decide what I wanted to drink, but I normally go for an oat milk lavender latte and this one had a nice flavor to it and delicious. Something I thought was super was the in house bean roasting. It was nice to see the experience firsthand because something like this tends to take place in the back of building/business.I ordered the avocado toast, which was good, but it wasn't the best avocado I've tried; but it's perfect if you want a little something more than just coffee. I think adding the egg and bacon made it filling and held my appetite for a good part of the day. Overall, you should try it for yourself and see what you think !

Great little cafe located right outside of the cruise port in Tampa. Very busy when I came in since it seemed like a lot of travelers were waiting around before setting sail in their cruises. Had to park a little far because of how busy it is in the area but parking on the street is available.I ordered a delicious pumpkin hazelnut latte and a vegan burrito. I really enjoyed the food. The burrito was very tasty. The coffee was also good, I wish I could get a refill of that drink! It was hard to find a table and many of the tables were dirty so maybe it was just because of the busy rush. I enjoyed my visit otherwise.

This has been my favorite coffee find so far in the Tampa area. They have an aesthetic interior and the lay out is perfect for either studying or talking with friends. You're not crammed right next to someone so it's not awkward to talk and I love it. My favorite thing about this place is their drink options. This is the type of specialty coffee shop I was hunting for! They have unique seasonal flavors and they taste amazing. The workers were super helpful in picking the perfect drink. The cups are really cute and the vibe is just overall very pleasant. They have a water faucet which is like a tube from the wall, super cool and their decor inside is the cutest.Definitely will be coming back to sit in and study sometime.

Beautiful space. I walked in the door and knew from the smell they roasted their own coffee and there it was by the ordering counter a beautiful machine roasting coffee to perfection. I roast myself at home so I got the feels when I walked in. The space is large and open and they have all kinds of coffee they roast from different regions. They also have food and pastries. Great place to vibe. Will be back soon

We visited here for a conference to get a nice coffee shop vibe. The aesthetics are beautiful. The coffee is pretty good and strong. The almond croissant was perfect flaky, flavorful and sweet. The oatmeal was extremely good not too thick just right and the toppings were perfection. There were a few issues with our order we never received one of our sandwiches and had to remind them several times I didn't even take a picture of it because she didn't like it when she received it customer service was a little cold and not very attentive. To make up for the order mixup, they did give us an almond croissant.Right near the port of Tampa so a nice place to come right before you board .But all in all, it was very good and I would return
