Was in town on business and came here for dinner before getting back on the road. I had the chicken and steak hibachi with salad and miso soup and a glass of wine (judge up momma). I sat at the bar like I usually do when I travel. The service, food, and ambience were all great. I fully recommend.

My first time here for a casual lunch with some friends, but a regular spot for them, and now I definitely can see myself coming back! The location is within a shopping plaza, so parking is plentiful, and when we arrived around 12:30 on Sunday, there was no one else dining in at the moment, but there did seem to be a consistent flow of take out orders.There were three of us today & we all started with the miso soup. It came out quite hot, had a good flavor profile, just a bit unbalanced with far more seaweed than tofu or green onions in there. One in our group ordered a hibachi meal, which also came with a ginger salad that she seemed to enjoy. Her hibachi portion was very large; honestly you could easy eat half & keep half for leftovers (which she did), or split one order between two people. She opted for the chicken & said it was her go to. My other friend got one of the sushi rolls, and admittedly I forget which one, but it was one she also got regularly when she ordered from her. I went with the Alaskan and roll and the Unagi roll. Both were average portion sized with 6 medium sized pieces per roll, and were quite fresh. We didn't try any of the alcoholic options, but it did look like they had a variety to pick from.Our servers were attentive, no complaints there! Earlier I mentioned it was fairly empty, but they all stayed busy keeping the place clean, working to-go orders, and had an easy-going vibe as well. It looked like it was mostly booth seating, so if you have a party larger than 4, I would recommend calling ahead.

Food is as good as Japanese sushi with an America portion size. Lots of food for your buck and it tastes amazing. Price is very competitive and for the size of the rolls and portions it's beyond value. Also they do a lunch special that is unbeatable.

We came here today (I hadn't been here since way before Covid, so it had been quite a while!)The amount of food we got for what we paid was incredible. For the crispy jalapeño appetizer, a kani salad, and two lunch specials containing a total of 4 rolls and 4 pieces of nigiri (which came with soup or a salad) we paid around $50. For good quality sushi I'd say that's a huge bargain. Service was quick and friendly, and the restaurant is very clean and decorated really nicely. It's in a strip mall so there's a ton of parking. Onto the food.The crispy jalapeño appetizer is okay, but we were hoping it'd be better. The breading on the outside wasn't very flavorful and we ended up pulling the jalapeños out and eating them without the breading. The kani salad is good but it's probably 75% cucumber which just wasn't what I was expecting. Still delicious but if you're not a cucumber fan, I'd skip this. The sushi was good! I also really liked the miso soup that came with my meal. My favorite of the rolls we ordered was the spicy tuna but all 4 of the rolls were really fresh. The nigiri was good, not fishy at all. Overall this place is really good especially considering how much food we got for what we paid.

Basic sushi restaurant. The raw salmon and raw tuna nigiri I ordered was very fresh and nice size portions. The ginger and wasabi were high quality. The greeter and server were very friendly. The decor was nice but not exceptional. Parking was convenient since they're located in a strip mall.Since the restaurant is rated 4.5* on YELP, I was expecting something exceptional and I didn't find that. The dressing for my avocado salad was brought in a squeeze bottle, which turned me off. Both the dressing and the salad were ordinary. I wouldn't give iceberg lettuce 4.5*.If you live nearby or are looking for a sushi restaurant along Route 19, this restaurant might be perfect for you. I stopped because I was driving south on Route 19 from Holiday FL to Sand Key FL. I would stop here again if I'm in the neighborhood but would not go out of my way to visit.

Easy ordering, good food, will definitely go again. I really appreciate the clear distinction on the sushi menu of which rolls have raw fish vs which do not!We ordered to-go online and got a Mexican roll, spicy girl roll, spicy scallop roll and a vegetable yaki soba. The place was nice inside and our food was ready to go when we arrived.The yaki soba was the highlight of the meal. Generous portion and the noodles were very well prepared.The sushi was pretty good as well. The Mexican roll's cream cheese tasted more like the filling of a crab rangoon than the typical chunk in most rolls, which was a welcome surprise. The fish in the other rolls seemed pretty good quality as well.
