I just moved to this area and have been yelping to find new places to eat. Since this sandwich shop was very close to home and had good ratings, we gave it a try. Let me say that the owner is definitely a sandwich wizard! He uses unique creative combinations of meats, breads and sandwich spreads/ toppings to make what could be just a boring sandwich shop SOOOO good! The gourmet in the name is 100% true. First a warning: is his portions are very generous! We ordered the French Candy Sandwich and the Cuban. And between my husband and I, we couldn't finish either because we were stuffed! The French Candy is the one that peaked my interest on yelp and it didn't disappoint. Huge sandwich! See my photo. Cuban was good too. Second warning: the ambience is NOT fancy. My joke with my hubby is that you can tell a man "decorated" the place :-) But trust me, that man can make a mean sandwich and he's nice to boot!! Will definitely be coming back and spreading the word on this place.

Bomb Sandwiches & Awesome customer service. They have tables to eat here, but we took our sandwiches to go to the beach. The feature I do love is that they say you can put your handprint with your name painted on the table like a personal touch. There's also toys for family's kids to be entertained. The one thing is they do have political signs. Two guys were working when I went and they were super nice and helpful. I knew we wanted a Cuban sandwich and looking through the menu and reviews we also got the French Candy Sandwich. With our order of two sandwiches, they generously gave us two sides - potato salad and macaroni salad. Our faves were the French Candy sandwich and the potato salad.French Candy is unique and flavorful. It has a sweet and savory appeal to it with unexpected flavor of trail mix. It goes very well. This is a Turkey, cream cheese, dressing, alfalfa sprouts, trail mix. It is messy, but it's worth it. It's huge too especially bc we preferred Cuban bread rather than pumpernickel. It was cut in fourths and a fourth was plenty. But it was so good I dreamt of having my other half the next day.The Cuban is very large and good as well as the macaroni salad which is the same dressing as the potato salad. The guys were super funny and friendly. They did an awesome job with their sandwiches. If you need a late night eat also, go here!

Wow. Amazing grub!I just did a GrubHub order. I called concerned with the time being 2+ hours and was happy to hear they were making it as I was calling, and the delivery was here in like 20 minutes. I ordered the Chef Salad and this thing was HUGE. Probably enough for three or four servings. It was absolutely covered in meat and the lid could barley close. And the best part of all was it was absolutely delicious. First time ordering from here, and it won't be the last. Thank you!!

The French candy Sandwhich is what I came for. It was so good. Too big for one person. The bread was really soft. It does look messy inside and questionable. It has a lot of potential. The staff was great! They also had BOGO promos on the gyros.

OK stopped in this local Deli by Alt 19 in Palm Harbor this week. I had a sandwich called the French Candy. Unique name, and so yummy. Turkey, alfalfa sprouts, tomatoes, pumpernickel, cream cheese and oddly enough a tiny sprinkle of fruit and nut trail mix. Yes I said trail mix. So different, I asked for light trail mix but glad I did still add the it as that slight sweetness from the dried fruit and the crunch from the nuts definitely added a cool complexity that was surprising. Very nice/ kind employees too! Worth a visit if your hungry and in the area. Always great to support local business #Eatlocal#SupportSmallBusiness#GratefulandBlessed#APerfectDay #bridget_breland_realtor #Bridgie_Breland_Foodie #yelptampabay

When you walk in there's not much to look at but the woman working the counter is beyond friendly. She offered my son pickles and a game right away to keep him busy. They have a special for each day of the week and a ton of options to choose from. So we ordered quite a lot. Well actually we ordered two sandwiches, rice pudding, a bag of chips and two drinks. The lady behind the counter threw in two small containers from the fridge and a tabouli salad. We took all the food down to Wall Springs Park to eat.The food was honestly kind of a disappointment. Publix makes a better Cuban than the one I ate in my opinion. The roast beef in the Ruben was pretty fatty and it had about a pound of sauerkraut on it. The potato salad had almonds in it. It was not my favorite nor was the macaroni salad. The rice pudding also left much to be desired.Maybe it was an off day for the deli or we showed up after a big rush and got the leftovers. I might try this place again.

Ordered a falafel sandwich and it was unlike any falafel I've had and tasted overwhelmingly of cumin. The sandwich pickles were indeed regular pickle slices and not what's expected on a falafel wrap. Yhe falafel themselves were soft and falling apart and I question if they were undercooked or what... guess I'll find out tomorrow. The whole flavor profile was just off. I got a side of macaroni salad which I actually really liked- unexpectedly it had sunflower seeds and raisins in it.My friend ordered a tuna sub which looked pretty generous size and standard fair. However, she ordered tabbouli and they had to make it on the spot bc they were all out. I thought that was nice but the salad had whole long stems, very rough cut, huge hunks of onion... just not right at all. We picked this spot bc it was close to the park we were exploring for the day but I wish we had spent a little extra time researching. I will say props to them for collecting donations for bikes for the needy. I wish I had taken a photo of the dozens of bike boxes piled high. Probably a safe bet if you go for a basic sandwich and side .
