Shark Bites On the River

First time here and had a great experience. Food and service was wonderful. Will definitely be back!

Honestly if I could give zero stars I would cause this place had poor food quality and everything. Would not recommend

I've been here at least ten times and never had a bad experience. It's not the best place, but the beer is cold, staff is adequate, food is satisfactory, and the setting is nice. I'll return until they give me a reason not to

Great place right on the water. Open air, tiki hut feel, with live music on some evenings and definitely on the weekends. We love this place. The fish tacos and calamari are our go to! Service has always been very friendly and Efficient. We will keep coming back. This is a little hidden gem for sure.

I am very happy to see that this place is operating successfully even with the issues that most restaurants are having with the shortages on staffing. The server we had today was being trained and he did an excellent job. He was very attentive and on top of everything. He was also not afraid to ask the server who was training him if he was unsure of something on the menu. The food was great. I got the medium wings and the sauce had an excellent flavor, it was not bland at all, which is often a risk with this flavor. The Mozzarella sticks came out hot with the cheese gooey and melted. A little advice - the entrance for the restaurant itself is a little difficult to find if you park in the the first lot off of Baylea. To enter the restaurant make sure that you follow the signs and the pathway to get in. Also the parking lot is a little cramped as it gets busy. However, once you are in make sure to sit on the deck. The view of the waterway is beautiful. Also when sitting on the deck dogs are allowed if on leashes.

Friends wanted to go and try it for a birthday lunch. Warned them not to- I was right. Was awful the last time I went and still awful. The steamed shrimp wasn't even done correctly.

Hidden gem. Although it has the look, feel and vibe of a dive bar, the food is even better than the usual. Seems like someone is taking things to the next level. Small touches like fries and ketchup are not normal bar fare. I had the grouper tacos with the black beans and rice. I've had plenty of beans and rice but there was a sauce within these that was exceptional. Great spot on the water as well.

Trying a new vacation spot this year and we always look for the locals favorite restaurants. After asking around we were told to try Shark Bites. Food was great as well as the service!

Better than expected! We had the gator (lightly blackened) and Captain's platter (grilled) and rum runners. Everything was super. We'll probably ask for lighter seasoning on the platter next time, but otherwise awesome.

Nice place great setting friendly staff but $$$ $5.75 Sam Adams draft ??? $3.75 Mich amberbock !
