Shanghai Chinese Restaurant

I've only ever had the plain lo mein and general tso's from here, but it's always been delicious and fresh!

Great service lady who works there is very nice! The food is amazing! I love the vibe of the restaurant it is very nice 10/10!

Wish I could give this place 0 stars. This was the worst experience I've ever had with a Chinese restaurant. The woman was so rude to me and my boyfriend the whole time we were ordering. Then she handed us the paper bag the food was in and when we got home we realized she handed the bag to us upside down so our food was completely ruined and the sauce leaked out and made a huge mess everywhere. DO NOT GO HERE.

Horrible service, bad temperament when I returned with the wrong order. I ordered online and got a different price when I got to the restaurant. I was told "price changed". When I called about missing items, I was told to BRING ALL FOOD BACK. Was refused a refund on the missing items. Since I picked this up on the way home, I had no option but to drive the 12 miles back. Food is only mediocre at best.

Poor service. Not friendly. No thank you. Felt like I was getting on her nerves while I made my selection. Requested a plate to eat our food...she grab two out of the bag tossed them on the counter and pointed to the cup of forks. She hands me my change and im lookinh at her waiting for her to say thank you. She looks back at me and taps the bag as if to say what are you waiting for here is your food tap tap now go. Again...never said thank you...no smile. I won't return. Okay, enough about the poor service. Let's talk about the food. I had the Shanghai chow Mei fun, it was too spicy for me but not bad. The other dish was the BBQ spare ribs combo. The ribs were good but the rice had a bad taste...not sure what that was about as I've never had bad rice before.

We are desperate to find great Chinese food that's close to us! This... Is ok. It'll work in a pinch. We always get General Tsp chicken and sweet and sour chicken just to compare different places. It's not bad here but it's a little bland. Its definitely not spicy!The restaurant itself is kinda gnarly. Don't look to closely at base moldings or window sills because they are indeed full of dead bugs. Not even going to let my mind picture what the back of the place looks like. Probably best to leave that one alone. It's fairly cheap and the staff aren't overly friendly but that doesn't bother me. I wish the food were a little spicier and the place was cleaner but it's not the worse I've seen, I'll give it that!

Food was done fast and hot and ready for me I got the fried dumplings they are my favorite and vegetable lo mein 10/10

the food is alway very hot and good. the Lady that works there is crazy. you feel as though if you had a complaint that she would jump over the counter with a very sharp Katana and end you, so i never have a complaint. i noticed they put a shield up for customers. i suspect it is there to deflect the knives she throws at her staff. her staff seems very scared and quickly do whatever she says. i fear for them. it is very entertaining. waiting for your food is like watching a scene from Kill Bill. i have to give them five stars as im scared to give them lower.

Tried this place yesterday. This was the worst Chinese food (Kung Po Shrimp) I have ever had, anywhere in America I've ever eaten. I asked for extra spicy (Kung Po is supposed to be spicy), but the dish was flavorless and not at all spicy. Add to that getting snapped at by the front person because she couldn't hear me through their plexiglass wall, and I'll never go there again.

Probably the best fried rice in all of polk county IMO. My go-to order is chicken wings fried rice. This is 5 out of 5. reminds me of new york style chinese american food. However. Not impressed with the other menu options. Edible but nothing to write home about
