5 Stars - Amazing Food and Flavors!Shang Hai is THE BEST Chinese food I've had in Tampa! I recently ordered the Chicken and Broccoli with a side of Lo Mein, and it was absolutely perfect--packed with flavor, tender chicken, and perfectly cooked noodles. It's hands-down some of the best I've ever had!The Orange Chicken was another standout. The sauce was the perfect balance of tangy and sweet, with just the right amount of zest. The chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.I also tried the Shrimp Egg Roll, and it was fantastic. Crispy, not greasy, and filled with plump shrimp and fresh veggies. It's clear they use high-quality ingredients and take pride in their food.Ordered via DoorDash and the portions were generous. Highly recommend Shang Hai if you're craving delicious Chinese food!

Surprising that they don't have more good reviews. Their food was delish. We ordered vegetable lo mein, orange chicken (held the spice), white rice and 3 egg rolls. They did not disappoint on a Friday night when I had no desire to cook. It was a bit of a wait but definitely worth it!

This is the best Chinese I would dare to say in between Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Pasco County. It's your typical entrance, with a delivery only type of feel, and a slightly upset owner (which makes you feel it's authentic no?).I was skeptical but my wife who works nearby has mentioned we have to get this, and I was driven crazy by their general tso (I felt like I was eating food from Northeast American Chinese place). The crab rangoon had the right amount of crab to cream cheese ratio (1:5), the vegetables were fresh and the right flavors, and the garlic chicken (I'm on keto) was very flavorful with a large portion of vegetables.We have to be careful just as we're watching our calories, but... definitely order takeout either in person or via an app from this place, you won't regret it!

They were one of the best, not anymore, Beef and Broccoli reeked of garlic, Sweet & sour chicken was old and refried, Egg rolls were tiny and almost all dough. Took major dive this year, tried several times to give them another chance, but alas worse every time. So I will find another. I no longer recommend this establishment. Hard pass.

absolutely amazing food. 100% reccomend. Service is quick and easy, the store itself is believe is in a great location. couldnt say more, just amazing quality food!

The food from this restaurant was surprisingly good. We were visiting family who live nearby and they ordered takeout from Shang Hai on Christmas eve. An exceptionally busy time, especially for Chinese restaurants, so we were pleased when all the orders came correctly. The egg rolls were quite crispy and tasty. We had their mu shu pork. The al dente cabbage and veggies made it a little crunchy. You could choose pancakes or white rice and we got the pancakes. Hoisin sauce came with it too. We also had their Singapore rice noodles which was quite good. Thin noodles mixed with a spicy curry sauce and with pieces chicken, beef, pork, and vegetables. I'd definitely get this dish again but ask them to make it a touch less spicy. Other dishes ordered that night were beef with broccoli and chicken lo mein. Although we didn't try those entrees, they looked good. And our family members enjoyed them. Portions were large so we had lots of left overs for them to partake of long after we'd gone.

Completely burnt egg foo young. I opened my take out and this is what I saw. It was not even edible. When I called the store to tell them not to serve burnt food, they offered no apology and even made an excuse that some people like it burnt. Seriously?!!

The egg roll and Krab Rangoon were stale and had no flavor. The General Chicken was really sweet and tasted awful.

Food is always fresh and fast. Consistency is key and my dame order taste the same every time. Love it and I have returned several times.
