Señor Tequila Mexican Grill- Wesley Chapel

Señor Tequila is hands down one of my favorite spots in Wesley Chapel! I come here all the time, and they never disappoint. The service is always excellent--friendly, attentive, and fast. The ambience is fantastic, with a lively yet relaxed atmosphere that makes it perfect for any occasion. They accommodate large groups as well.This time, I ordered off the a la carte menu and tried the grilled steak quesadilla, chile relleno, and chicken flautas--everything was delicious! The steak was perfectly grilled, the chile relleno had just the right amount of spice and flavor, and it was covered in a delicious sauce. The flautas were crispy and flavorful.If you're looking for amazing Mexican food with top-notch service, this is the place to be. Definitely will be returning soon!

Oh. My. Goodness. Give the chef a raise! I ordered the shrimp plate with rice and tostones on the side and I was surprised at how amazing everything tasted. It was easily the best-tasting shrimp I've had in a while. The flavors were flavoring!

The food was out fast and pretty good. Chips were burnt, waitress didn't offer a high chair for our little one, and when my wife asked for an extra dab of sour cream we were charged $2 extra without being told. The prices don't match the quality or amount of food, even in today's climate. They had a large premade jug of what I'm guessing was their house marg which I wouldn't pay $12 for. Probably would look elsewhere for margaritas and Mexican food.

11/5/24 - This was a rather late lunch for a friend and myself and decided since the time was different, that we'd also try a new type of place. We expected it to be busier, but given it being Election Day, that wasn't a very accurate prediction. We had the place mostly to ourselves but our server was helpful in making some suggestions and so the food was very good. We enjoyed it a lot and will certainly come again.

My dining. Iffy and I had a really nice meal here. My buddy had the Brochetas. Absolutely marvelous -- the steak literally almost melted and the chicken was quite good. I had the fajitas and they were also really good. Both meals were sufficiently seasoned but not overdone. We also had dessert (Señor's Sopapillas) with some ice cream. It was quite good! This place has stepped up their game and I was impressed. We plan to return.

Wow! ISenor Tequila now they have 3 options of ceviche. My go to has been been the Trio which includes octopus. I love it! If you see my post from last year, the ceviche has been elevated!

Cinco de Mayo 2023 was the opportunity for me to try Señor Tequila...probably not a good idea if you want to sit down to dine because you will be looking at a 2hr wait.Attempting to get a drink at the bar on this specific date was a 20minute wait. They didn't have their usuals...just "event specials".I witnessed someone resign and another employee completely in shambles that my table had to console her. Outside of the wait and chaos, my entire table enjoyed their meals. My ceviche was very delicious. I would definitely order again. The drinks were not memorable. But I would return on a less chaotic day to get a better experience.

Miran our bartender was excellent. The cocktails were excellent service was awesome.The food was awesome too.

Always have good food here but the service has gone down hill! Our waitresses we've had on numerous occasions show up about 15 minutes into us being sat. We typically don't see the waitress or waiters much when we are sitting, and it usually takes a good amount of effort to get their attention for refills. Food always hits the spot though, definitely super consistent on the taste for sure! I used to love this place a lot, but I think the service needs to step up.

My husband and I absolutely love Señor Tequila in Wesley Chapel! We've also visited the Carrollwood location and had a good experience, but the Wesley Chapel location is truly our favorite.After a long 2-hour drive home from my husband's Spartan race in Lake Placid, we stopped in for a late lunch to celebrate, and as always, we were blown away. The bartender, Alex, was phenomenal--packed with personality, incredibly helpful with menu recommendations, and provided prompt and attentive service. This level of exceptional service is what keeps us coming back every time--we can always count on consistency!We ordered the Pollo Acapulco, the Molcajete, and two jumbo skinny margaritas. The portions were generous, and everything was absolutely delicious. The flavors, presentation, and quality of the food were spot-on, just as we've come to expect from Señor Tequila.If you're looking for fantastic food, great drinks, and consistently amazing service, Wesley Chapel's Señor Tequila is the place to be. We can't recommend it enough!
