Why did we wait so long to stop in? We recently drove past, went home, and back in the car we headed to Sekushi. Yay! What a gem!We were able to get a seat at the bar, and Robert greeted us immediately. Sake for me and a Jai Lai for my guy. We looked at the menu and decided to graze from the happy hour menu.3 each of Chicken Yakitori1 Tuni/Sushi/SashimiSpicy Tuna RollChicken Bao BunPork Belly Bao BunJapanese Gyoza (fried) Will order steamed next timeEvery item was delicious and nicely presented. Nice ambiance, awesome service, and very comfortable. We met many folks and had lots of fun. Definitely go-to for us now. Oh, my dessert Expresso Martini was divine. The owner greeted everyone, and the bartender, Robert, ensured everyone had a very nice experience.Located in a strip mall, so parking was easy.

I found this from Yelp and needed to add to it! Everything was amazing and so fresh! Our waitress was super sweet and even the service staff bring our food out were amazing and so polite. The happy hour menu is really cool is you just want to try items to get a understanding of the dishes. The place is super clean and the vibe was warm and loved all of the patrons all hanging out and chatting up with each other. We will definitely be back!!

I am always on the look out for a good ramen! And I think Sekushi has become my go to! Not to mention their edamame is to die for! The flavor in both items is top tier! I could eat and make it all the time if I had the recipe! I highly recommend those two items! Sadly I haven't tried more of their menu because I love those two items so much! I will say the service is partially slow, but not unbearable. The inside of the restaurant is lit well and provides a culturally appropriate experience! I can't wait to go back next!

I hate to leave a bad review, but this was possibly one of the worst restaurant experiences I've encountered. I'm not sure if this spot is new or what the issue was exactly, but it is very poorly ran. This place has a lot of potential, however, not sure I see it lasting if they cannot get a proper amount of staff and have them trained. My family and I came here for Valentine's Day, and this place was packed. We were sat right away because we had set reservations. We had high hopes for this place based off reviews, pictures we saw, and the restaurant itself was nice looking. Looking at the menu, it's pretty limited with the sushi rolls, and overpriced. I thought maybe the quality would be great, but I was wrong, very mediocre, not worth the price. Drinks here, although I only tried one, and it was delicious. It was a martini named sekushahi or something similar. After about 30 minutes we started to wonder what was going on, our drinks were taking forever and the appetizers had not come out. We had only ordered two orders of pork dumplings, a miso soup and two house salads. We were told that they only had one sushi chef and that it would take some time and appreciated patience. Finally our drinks came out, but we were still without food. We ordered our entrees and continued to wait. We overhear someone saying they they are going to McDonald's because they're done waiting.. and they were sitting before us... we started to get a bit worried. The owner came out and apologized, he gave my sister and I a rose which was sweet .. but we were gettin a bit hangry.. finally after another id say 20 min our apps came out. The dumplings were great, the salad however was not. It was presented beautifully but lacked dressing. My dad asked the owner for more and he brought it over quickly ... and that dressing just barely had any taste to it... the salad was 7 bucks ... a waste of money really .. not sure how the miso soup was, didn't try it. We ordered another drink and continued to wait another 30 min. My dad at this point was frustrated and let the owner know. We were not understanding why they were taking so long and seating new people when no one even around us was getting their food. The owner asked my dad how he could make things better and then offered to give us 25% off because of this mess and then never returned back to our table. This experience ruined our night and the plans we had after that we were not able to make them because of how long we waited. We about got up to leave because we were almost there for about 2 hours and our food finally started coming out... so we stayed. I ordered salmon sushi, yellowtail sushi, sweet shrimp sushi and the tuna crispy rice... everything was good but I've had a lot better. And 7 bucks for basic salmon and yellow tail sushi? I pay that price for salmon/ yellowtail belly or King salmon, but not regular sake salmon or yellowtail and the size was small. I loved the sweet shrimp I got. The crispy rice thing however, I was not a huge fan of... the crispy rice was fried right but the tuna was bland, they could do way better with this one. Presentation of everything was nice though. I appreciate that the owner took initiative to come up to us and let us know how bad he felt and that he offered 25% off.. But for it to be a holiday and for a restaurant to not be prepared and continue to make the mistake of allowing walk ins when they know they are struggling is not the way to go. It leaves people with a bad taste in their mouth and prevents someone to want to give this place a chance again, especially when there was nothing to be impressed about. I hope this place learns from this night and gets better with time.

Kids wanted sushi and I didn't want to cook - Sekushi it was! Our server, Cameron, was so friendly and so nice. We happen to be the only table when we first got there, and he made us feel like we were the only ones there. One adult three kids and come to find out from Cameron, a happy hour menu! My daughter chose the kids vegetable fried rice bowl, which was a mixture of brown rice and white rice with incredibly cooked mushrooms, peppers, and onions. We had the $3 edamame for an appetizer- Cameron suggested we have it plain with ponzu and salt instead of how they serve it, which tends to be a little bit spicy. Great suggestion! My son's on the other hand, devoured the happy hour menu. They had their choice of California roll, Sekushi roll, or spicy tuna roll. We ended up with three California rolls, two Sekushi rolls and one spicy tuna roll and All were excellent. The shrimp tempura is four pieces and perfectly fried so definitely get that. The salmon and tuna sashimi were excellent and perfectly cut. If you want to enjoy the happy hour, it is dine in only though which was fine cause we planned on dining in. I did order a dirty martini, which was not on the happy hour menu, which I knew. But I'm holding back a star since a Tito's dirty martini was $13. That's more of a goose or kettle dirty martini - the blue cheese stuffed olives were what caught my eye when I walked in. This was our second time here, and I know we'll be back!

We love it here! From the wine selection to the white sangria. The sand key roll to the crispy tuna and all of the gluten free options - even better during happy hour!! Which is offered everyday of the week. Frank the owner is always there checking in and Megan is a wonderful server. Great place for a drink and good food. Even our dog loves joining us on the patio.

Let me start with, The waitress was wonderful! Now the rest. Smells terrible when you walk in, the roll I ordered bland, the fried shrimp dumplings tasted strange and far too much breading on the inside, and the veggies on the salmon plate we ordered made no sense for the dish. I'm not sure how this restaurant is rated well on here or on open table. Disappointed.
