Seawhip Sushi Bar

Checked this spot out and it was fantastic! Plenty of parking since it's in a strip mall. I ordered the Causeway Crunch roll and the Rockstar roll. The Causeway Crunch had krab mix, shrimp, cream cheese cooked tempura style. It is topped with krab Rangoon melt, spicy mayo, and sweet chili. The Rockstar roll is lobster meat, cream cheese, and asparagus. It is topped with Wagyu, seared to order. It is finished with crispy leeks and shallots, seahorse aioli, scallions, and eel sauce. I swapped the asparagus out for avocado. For dessert we ordered the strawberry cheesecake tempura roll. Very interesting and good!Both were phenomenal! Everything was flavorful and fresh. Loved the menu and options. Service was fantastic! Only issue was the lack of seating options. There was the sushi bar, with plenty of chairs. But there were only I think 3 high top tables with no back to the chairs. The high top tables are unfortunately not friendly for those who certain disabilities. Only suggestion is to add more seating options and chairs with backs.

This cute little gem was tucked away within the plaza closest to honeymoon island. My 2 friends and I decided to try it out for "girls night" due to the great reviews. When you walk in there's maybe 20 seats with the centerpiece of the restaurant being a large bar that showcased the amazing sushi chef and decent sized aquarium in the background. We sat down at the bar and were greeted immediately by the server. We told her it was our first time here. She suggested the honeymoon roll, which my friend ordered and looked amazing!!! Everything was very fresh and tasty. We even ordered dessert which consisted of a strawberry cheesecake roll which was AMAZING. They also have a beer/sake menu. It wasn't extensive but it got the job done. Based on the service alone I would come back. We went on a Monday and the place filled up very quick, our server was fabulous and personal. I can't wait to come back and try the rest of the menu.

The best sushi we have had ever in the Tampa area. Seawhip Sushi Bar in Dunedin is a must try.!The service is outstanding!The ambience is calm and relaxing, they have an incredible fish tank absolutely immaculate.What can I say.Best of the best!!!

We had a fantastic experience here on a cool and sunny weekend afternoon in January, sitting at the sushi bar, talking with the friendly owner, and eating some of the freshest, tastiest sushi around. We loved it!

Without a doubt the BEST sushi around!!! This was our first time and it will not be the last! And thankfully we are less than 2 miles away. We had the Volcano Causeway Crunch with Tuna and the tempura strawberry cheesecake. We usually each have a roll we like better this time we couldn't decide. There was a slight mix up in what was delivered and before I could call them, Zach was calling us to handle the issue! Now THAT is Service! I can't speak to the ambiance other to say next time we will go into the restaurant. Great place highly recommend!!

You know it's going to be good when you notice there's lots of locals visiting! The owners seemed to know everyone walking in which made for an inviting atmosphere. This was some of the best sushi I've had while in Florida and I thought it was really unique that you could make your own roll.

Amazing sushi spot and super friendly staff! We came in for dinner and sat at the bar. All of the staff were very helpful and friendly. Our food was delicious and the prices were very fair. Will definitely be back.

Everything we ordered was delicious. Sushi was fresh and tasty. Loved the specialty rolls and the crispy spring rolls. We picked up our order, but it was ready quickly and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Overall a hidden treasure.

Great food, super nice staff. Fish tank and sushi chef very entertaining. Will definitely be returning!
