Needed a diner style breakfast so I found this little breakfast nook. This restaurant is only open for breakfast and lunch.Set across the street from the water.A cute little place and gotta love the name. I chose this place because they had shrimp and grits ant that their most popular dish. Do we ordered the shrimp and grits, a popeyes omelet and over easy eggs and corn beef hash and home fries.the shrimp and grits were good as the Popeyes omelet. The over easy eggs was over cooked and the corn beef hash was cooked crisp squished thin like a 5 inch pancake and did it mentioned it was thin? It was as thin as 2 tortilla wraps stacked together.

Found this place for breakfast while we were in St Pete. This place will take you way back as soon as you walked in. The decor is very nostalgic of the old Florida. I had the cheesy Cajun shrimp grits. It was so yummy! My husband had the French toast, but I wasn't impressed. They used a thin white bread which is normally not suitable for French toast.I wish I had a photo of it, but will be back again when we're in town and try something different. Service was great. No complaint.

Cute, old Florida style breakfast and lunch restaurant. Lunch begins at 11am, but there are savory items such as BLT and grilled shrimp on the breakfast menu. The house potatoes have quite a bit of onion (just a heads up for anyone ordering who isn't a fan of onions). Side of bacon is 3 pieces. Everything tasted great. Love the decor. Service was excellent! Outdoor seating available, but the old Florida ambiance is found inside.

During recent visit to Tampa/St. Pete found our way over to St.Pete Beach. Nice Area with a very good breakfast spot called the Seahorse Restaurant. It's near the water with a throw back Florida vibe from the 60's & early 70's. Tables and overall decor is a visit back to old Florida!Server was very friendly & helpful with food selections. I decided on the Spicy Shrimp Omelette w/side of tomatoes since no hash browns. Also, had a Bloody Mary to start the day which was tasty!Overall with the nostalgia, food & service I would give this 4.5 stars! Thanks for the ride back in time and look forward to another visit down the road!

A very nice casual breakfast lunch place. It's pretty much a like a diner in NYC. Food is good and service even better. They have a wide array of breakfast items and sandwiches. The shrimp and grits was very good.

Great breakfast. Our waitress Betsy is a real gem, I can't recommend her enough. We've had omelets and breakfast sandwiches here, the portions are large and the pricing is reasonable.

food here was great. i had corned beef hash and eggs. Danielle had the country breakfast bowl. the grits in her bowl were actually good - and i don't like grits. my corned beef has was perfectly crispy, as described.if there was a drawback, it was that there was only grape jelly for my toast, haha, and that the coffee cups were so small that i required a refill almost as soon as the server, Sophie, walked away. ambiance was nice but there's no parking so we had to walk from the beachside road a block or two away - but it was nice out so all's well. service was fine but really nothing special. actually, maybe it was great. at least she wasn't overwhelmingly fake in her warmth. it's her job and she did it fine. i'm not overwhelmingly warm so why do i act like everyone else should be?

I had heard about and read good reviews about the Seahorse prior to our visit to St. Pete, so I wanted to give it a try. It looked like they had a casual, fun atmosphere and a great selection of breakfast choices. We stayed near downtown St. Pete, so our drive to Pass-a-Grille Beach was an adventure as well. We probably never would have driven down to it, but it's a gorgeous drive on a sunny day for the destination. We parked on the street and we seated quickly when we got there on a Sunday morning. We had a booth inside by the window. I enjoyed the old-fashioned atmosphere. Our server Betsy was FANTASTIC. She was so welcoming, friendly, and attentive. She had an amazing personality, and kept that coffee flowing! I ordered the Spicy Shrimp Omelette. It was so delicious and flavorful. The shrimp was plentiful and had Cajun seasoning on it. The omelette presentation itself was beautiful, too. It was one of the most perfect-looking, folded omelettes I've ever seen. The omelette came with a side of toast, but surprisingly no potatoes (not that my fat ass needed it anyway). My partner ordered the Veggie Breakfast Bowl, which was veggies mixed with their homemade cheese grits. He said the cheese grits were like none he had ever had and really enjoyed their uniqueness. I'm so glad we came down to the Seahorse and visited the beautiful Pass-a-Grille Beach.

Vacationing in St Pete's beach and was looking for a spot for breakfast. Took a 10 minute ride to Seahorse. Located across from the water In a quiet little town. Finding parking could be an issue however if you don't mind a walk then street parking is available. The restaurant itself has a vintage , preserved interior. Service was great, a lot of locals visit here. Got myself the classic breakfast, was a safe option. Mimosas weren't the greatest and that's part of the reason for the rating. Wasn't blown away , however this is a place worth visiting If you're looking for a breakfast spot
