This place is pricey! Your date better give you your dessert when you get home because meals are not cheap here. Service was lackluster akin to a machine, lack of hospitality. Bread from the basket fell on the ground and they didn't instinctively get replacement rolls. Calamari: what is that drizzle? Geez. Fried ok. Snapper: sautéed nice. The coconut lime rice was interesting if not mistaken for mashed potatoes at first. Good asparagus. Cesar salad: decent and the croutons were not hard so I didn't lose teeth. Shrimp scallop risotto: I felt the rice was too crunchy and not al dente enough. You get four pieces each of the seafood. Could be better. Overall tab was $100. So yeah get that nookie at home

We have been to this restaurant 2 times, and probably won't return. The first time, we thought it was good - I had the shrimp 3 ways and my husband had the shrimp and scallop risotto - both meals were very good and service was great - we sat in the dining room. Our kids came to visit in Jan 2024 and we decided to take them to Seafire Grill. We were seated in the lounge, though we had made reservations for the dining room - I'm not sure why we were seated in the lounge. Honestly, we weren't sure about this until we left and asked about the different rooms. Our kids loved the calamari appetizerMy husband and I both had the fried grouper and chips - both were mostly soggy breading with not so much grouper. The service was slow. Our server was apparently assigned to the dining and the lounge, so she was running around. There was a singer preparing to sing right behind us, and our only goal was to get out of there before he started as the speakers were in our ears. We wanted to like this place so much. We totally wanted to impress our kids by taking them there. Never again.

Fine service, cute added details like screens along the hostess stand and bar. Liking the sea grass and sugar sand accents too. The drinks are good too, now on to the food... the filet was good, but compared to the one at Snappers St Pete at the same price point, doesn't match up. I might suggest adding a little pizzaz for value? Torching it frozen, served in a bath of drawn butter, whatever. The crab legs were on point! Served simply with drawn butter and untouched by Old Bay (thank you this is FL not MD) with a great side of coconut lime rice that never received enough appreciation. Steamed to perfection, the large chunks of sea beef came easy with minimal fight. I did have to request a cracker tool for the claws. Took me so long to savor that my butter hardened up and my husband ordered dessert- he never orders dessert! Can't wait to try Seafire again but not sure I can bring myself to deviate from that snow crab!

The food was delicious but overpriced. Everything is elegant and geared toward a more upscale crowd but if I'm at an upscale restaurant the first thing they usually do is ask the table for allergies. No big deal if they don't, it's just something I expect with high end venues. The room was warm with all the windows facing sunset. There are fans moving air around but it still felt warm. Didn't taste much gin in the gimlet and the pineapple mojito was overly sweet. We preferred the drinks and the music downstairs at Sunset Cove.

Came here for a birthday dinner with friends. We tried a lot of the items on the menu and really enjoyed ourselves! The ambiance is beautiful, as the restaurant sits right on the water. This restaurant is high end. The restaurant downstairs is much more casual. Both had live music while we were there from 7-9pm on a Friday night. I would recommend making a reservation. We loved our server Linda! She was such a gem. Things we tried:Lobster bisque Crab cakeBrussel sproutsLobster Mac and cheeseMash potatoes Broccolini Short rib Sea bassRib eye Everything was delicious and melted in your mouth! The food here is very fresh and flavorful. I would definitely come back for a special occasion!

Mediocre at best. Seated right away. Greeted and provided with water right away, but then another 10 min before drink order. About 15 min to receive said drink. LONG time between check-ins, with constant apologies for wait due to massive crowd, which we could not see. Many tables empty. Beer was flat, but took 10 min to waive her down to get something else.. My 1st cocktail was amazing...as well it should be for $14.00. Requested sauce on side of my sweethearts food. When food arrived, she apologized for the sauce being on my burger. I advised thats fine, I WANTED my sauce. (at the time, i didnt realize his sauce was all over his). Second cocktail (same kind) was nasty. She advised they were training a new bartender. Tried again, still nasty, so I gave up. She never did check in on food to let her know about the sauce all over his. He cant eat spices and it was covered in chipoltle aioli. At these prices, in a fancy restaurant with a dress code, you'd think they could at least afford to serve french fries instead of rock hard, pub chips with too much powdery seasoning on them. Now, that being said, my burger was AMAZING!! AND, they DID comp the beverages...even the 1st one that was yummy. I said she didnt need to do that, since that one was great, but she said bar manager said to comp all drinks since it was a bad bar experience overall. Commendable and much appreciated. The food was really good (aside from the pub chips and crappy fries we paid 5 extra bucks for). We will possibly give it one more try because they did try to make it right, but not impressed so far.

Do not come here for a date especially if you make a reservation they will sit you an hour late after your time and then give you an excuse that tables are sitting to long along with waiting 40 mins for an appatizer and over an hour for a meal just isn't worth the price tag in any way
