Satkar Indian Cuisine

For Saturday night date night we always go out to dinner early so we are here at 6 PM and one of the only tables. But do not fret because by 630. The restaurant was half full. We ordered the hot and sour soup delicious opened up all the nasal passages. We were suffering congestion due to allergies. This is what you need. Fried spinach appetizer dahi poori and lamb byrani rice .We order everything mild, because it tends to be spicy for us. But you are certainly given a choice as to the level of spice you enjoy.I always bring my own take away containers for things that are left over and can appreciate the fact that they don't mind me doing it.

Came in on a Saturday lunchtime with my daughter for her 1st time experience. Everything was absolutely delicious.... She loved the butter chicken & her favorite garlic naan. All of everything we ordered was made to perfection. Service was very friendly & attentive. Definitely coming back soon

I ordered the butter chicken and butter naan tonight via phone order (noting that the item prices were extravagantly higher when ordering via their online order system), and I was not entirely disappointed. Two stars taken away due to two incidents: the first one was a long black hair wrapped up under/within the saran wrap of the rice container; not in the food so not a total tummy twister - I realize that mistakes happen and this was one of those unfortunate oversights.The second being that the rice was NOT entirely filled... and there is just no excuse for this. There is no reason for them not to fill the rice box entirely, especially after raising prices to the point that it costs one person $20 for a single TAKE-OUT meal on a Wednesday night.Negatives aside, the butter chicken was bomb.com and perfectly medium-spiced as requested. The naan was cooked on-point; not burnt as I've experienced at many other Indian places. When I picked up my food, I observed the venue and clientele to be very telling of an authentically-established Indian restaurant. I will definitely be back with the hopes that they can perfect their takeout practices.

Worst food in life. If you want water down food, no taste and crispy rice then you should definitely eat here. If I could give it a negative star I would. When I called the restaurant to complain they said sorry they couldn't do anything about it. Absolutely the worst customer service and food!

Tried this place today Sunday in search of something that would not require us to cook. We do love good Indian food and had not tried this one. We both ordered Butter Chicken and a order of garlic naan. First the portion was really small for $16. The chicken was tender but seemingly was thin and not very flavorful. We requested medium heat and there was none. The naan was ok but tasted a little burnt on the bottom. We both agreed this would be a one and done visit.

I've had take out from here but haven't been inside until just recently. It's big but quaint at the same time. They are all booths and I love booths so I'm all about it. The waiter was quick to seat us and get our drink order. It was packed when we went but service is quick. Our server gave us recommendations on food and beer and we were not disappointed. Such yummy food. I like that they have a sampler platter (veg and non veg option) and their naan was soo good. Check it out if you're in that part of town.

Loved everything we selected. Worth the drive to Carrollwood. Can't say enough about it.

If you want amazing Indian food you must come here. During the pandemic I only took food to go. Recently I took a friend here visiting & she also loved it! I had the Butter chicken and naan bread and samosas and all of it was amazing and I had leftovers. I'll be back for sure!

One of the best chicken biryani and garlic naan in town.The rest can be hit or miss depending on the day.

Was looking for Indian food tonight and decided to order Satkar through Uber. I took note of the extravagant prices but didn't let this deter me as I and my partner were ravenously hungry and Indian was the only cuisine that could satisfy this emptiness. The food was delicious, both the butter chicken and tikka masala were some of the best we've had around the Tampa area. However the portions were unforgivably small. There were more onions in the butter chicken than there was chicken! This left both my stomach and wallet devastatingly empty. You can get almost double the amount of food elsewhere and spend less money (strictly Uber prices, idk what the prices are in the restaurant). Had the portions been more reasonable this could easily have been 5 stars.
