I can't believe we passed this place countless times and never tried it when we lived 10 min away! When I come back to Tampa I found surround between hotel rooms and Airbnb's. This was my second time staying in a quiet neighborhood not too far from this bakery. Since the Airbnb only had a Keurig and I don't do Keurig (I'm a real coffee drinker...Keurigs are for coffee wimps ) and Starbucks was just a bit too far away when I needed something fast I search for a local coffee shop. This area is full of ethnic restaurants and shops that we used to patronize including the Vietnamese food the Dominican food the Colombian food and the Jamaican food within walking distance of this place. When my son was smaller we even used to go to the barbershop at the end of this strip mall!So we going to this bakery not expecting much and ended up going in every single day we were in the neighborhood. They made the perfect café con Leche! They even made Pan de Bono as good and maybe even better than when I've had it in Colombia! Very impressed with this little bakery! I'm sure hubby stinks he's going to want to go back every time we come home to Tampa! I won't complain!

This small, spotlessly clean store and bakery in a strip mall on Waters was worth visiting. There is plenty of seating inside or you can get the food to go. We've never tried pan de bono before and this was our opportunity! It's a Colombian baked roll made from cassava flour, eggs and cheese. I'm here to tell you, pan de bono are filling, delicious and amazingly inexpensive. I can't compare what they bake here to others since it was our first time trying it!We also got a colada which was tasty but had zero crema on it. Finally, we had to get Cuban sandwiches as part of our search for the best in Tampa. They are only $4.50 (this is not a misprint!) and come with lettuce and tomato if you like. The sandwich was tasty but not pressed to a crunchy consistency and contained a limited amount of roast pork. It did have salami though making this a true Tampa Cuban!Lastly, we of course ordered 2 guava pastries. They were flaky and delicious! The service was friendly and Spanish speaking. I did fine with my limited vocabulary. However, it turned out the lady making the sandwiches spoke English fluently so we conversed on the specifics of our Cuban sandwich order. Life is good with fresh baked pan de bono!

It is about 4.25 stars. Love this store for variety and affordability. It is definitely a repetitive visited place. They carry good bakery items and drinks selection. This store is not too difficult to find. Parking is available in front. Very popular place for the local residents. This Columbia restaurant serve many types of soft drink. They have lulo, passion fruit, mango, and orange juice, soursop fruit. Those are very interesting. I got the soursop juice. The bakery have salty and sweet choice. I got the Napoleon for sweet. I also got the corn pancake with cheese, and empanadas. Overall the food are good, the juice is delicious, price is affordable.

One thing I love is a good bakery and this is exactly that. This is a Colombian bakery so you will find your authentic pastries like pan de bono, arepas , empanadas etc. they even sell Italian ice, smoothies, and sandwiches. They're open 7 days a week as early as 6am except Sunday's. I wasn't impressed by the regular cafe con leche so now I know for next time to order an espresso instead. The prices are great , and they even cater for very reasonable price as well. Check them out next time you're in town and country area.

This little hole in the wall is superb. Authentic Colombian baked goods like Pan de bono, Arepa, Empanadas, and Bread to go. The Pan de bono is my favorite here. The cafe con leche is fantastic as well, the prices at Santa Ana are more than reasonable. There are a few tables available should you feel like dining in.The service is constantly good, just know they speak Spanish primarily. If you enjoy Colombian food and good coffee, Santa Ana will be an instant favorite.

This is a sad excuse for a Colombian bakery. The disrespect. I got a wide variety of my favorite items and they were as disappointing as they looked. First of all, walking into the bakery... I was barely greeted not when I walked through the door, but after standing in front of the two employees staring down into their phones. The Boredom in their expressions were reflective of how miserable they are of their jobs. Walking in, I just knew nothing was fresh. It didn't smell like a bakery. The breads were still sitting in the rack... and why in the world would "fresh bread" be sitting in a cooling rack and the smell of that fresh bread not filling up the bakery? Well, to my (NOT) surprise, the bread was cold. Let's start with the buñuelos. Who had the audacity to make balls of regular fn bread and call it buñuelos???? No cheesy smell, no crisp, NOTHING. Literally just plain bread. The beef empanadas... might as well call it potato empanadas. The picante... it was plain vinegar with pieces of veggies. You might as well dip your empanadas in apple cider vinegar and call it a day. The rosca-- cold. Hard. Tasteless. The only semi decent item was the pandebono. Still cold, okay tasting.. maybe I'd give it 6/10. The morsilla.. cold, missing flavor, probably undercooked. If you're a Colombian looking for an authentic Colombian bakery, PLEASE AVOID.

My aunt is from Medellin and we were looking for a bakery with all the goods. We got lucky enough to arrive before they were sold out. We bought homemade arepas, quesito, empanadas, and almojabanas (cheese bread). I got a cheese empanada and it was amazing! Ask for the ají. Tangy and spicy for the empanadas. Amazing! I'll be back for sure.
