There's a new king of Cubans in Tampa. After having countless Cuban sandwiches in tampa my go to was the tried and true La Segunda, But after hearing the buzz around Sandrita's I needed to see for myself. The sandwich is quality from top to bottom and has really addressed the common shortcomings you've come to know in lots of local alternatives. The sandwich is absolutely enormous for the price point. After a brief chat with staff I can see the enthusiasm behind their product and happy to explore the rest of the menu as soon as I recover from this sandwich.

5/5 Today, I finally stopped by Sandrita's to try one of their Cuban sandwiches, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The moment you walk in, the warm welcome from the staff sets a positive tone. It's clear the owners genuinely care about their customers and aim to create a welcoming atmosphere. This time, I opted for the media noche instead of my usual classic. It was a fantastic choice. The sweet bread was perfectly toasted, creating a wonderful contrast with the slow-roasted pork. Each bite was an explosion of flavors--the juicy pork complemented by the tanginess of the mustard and pickles made for a truly satisfying experience.I also tried their Cuban coffee, which was the perfect balance of sweet and creamy--everything you dream of when craving a café con leche. It's refreshing when a place lives up to the hype, especially with all the buzz I'd heard about Sandrita's. I'm thrilled I had the chance to try this gem, and I'll definitely be back whenever the craving for a Cubano hits

Absolutely love this place! I can't get enough. The sandwiches are so fresh. It takes about 10 minutes from the time order to receive your sandwich because nothing is premade. But it is absolutely worth the wait! Portion sizes are huge, regardless of the limited menu. Enjoy a fresh Café con Leche also while you wait! The owners will greet you face-to-face every time you're in the store, and are so friendly and want to make sure your experience is top-notch.Parking is a little tight because it's in a plaza but most times a day you can get right in. There are only three tables to die so takeout is best unless you don't mind sharing busy times . No Bathrooms available

This small shop is a home run- Sandrita prepares each sandwich carefully and with love. My Cuban was without a doubt, the best Cuban I have had. The pork melted in my mouth and the ratios of ham, pork, cheese, mustard were perfect.Next time I am in the Tampa area, I'll make sure to stop by.In a small strip mall with limited parking and table service but the owners couldn't have been nicer.

Best Cuban sandwiches in town hands down! The place is nice and cozy, I felt very welcomed. The staff is really friendly and love what they do. Diego, the owner, was very attentive, and gave us a nice experience talking about the story of his family and the pictures on the wall.I had an Elena Ruth, which was MIND BLOWING (check the picture for the ingredients) and a pineapple juice. The ham and cheese sandwich and café con leche were amazing too. Definitely a place I would visit again!

Definitely 5 stars to this small but very cozy restaurant with representative photos of Cuba and Colombia. From the moment you walk in, it smells absolutely delicious. It's super clean and the service is wonderful. The owner served us, and both he and the people who work there were super friendly. About the food, I must say it was the best Cuban sandwich I have ever eaten. It was huge and the taste was exquisite; it also comes with some divine fried plantains. In conclusion, I would return to this place again for a Cuban sandwich and, of course, to try the other dishes and desserts that were already sold out when I went.

The shopping plaza where the restaurant is located looks very old, it as soon as you walk into Sandrita's it's a whole other vibe. The decor it bright and modern. Pleasant to sit and eat in.The staff were simply phenomenal. Friendly and inviting. Got to chat it up with Diego and connected quite a bit about childhood memories growing up with Colombian influence. The food was phenomenal! The Cuban was packed with meats, perfectly assembled and pressed, and one of the most delicious the wife and I have had in Tampa Bay... and we've tried many. The Elena Ruth was such a pleasant surprise! A delicious mix of sweet and savory that reminds me of a sweet empanada mixed with a turkey sandwich. So good. Their cortadito is excellent. Their mango juice was delicious. So smooth. The wife and I will definitely be back!

Great sandwiches! Inside looks great and smells oh so good. Hint- park in back for less chaos. Be prepared to take food to go, only 2 tables inside.Everyone working is friendly. We got 2 Cubans, Elena Ruth and Media Noche. Cubans are huge! Sandritas recently won 2nd place at the Cuban Festival!Cuban was one of the better ones around town. Juicy with lots of pork and ham. Melty cheese and pickles with mustard. Traditional and good. The Elena Ruth was a surprise hit. Turkey, cream cheese, strawberry jam on media noche bread. Could almost be a dessert sandwich. It was so good and different. One of these and a Cuban is a perfect blend of sweet and salty.Definitely recommend giving this place a try.

I'm so grateful for the opportunity to try Sandrita's. It's so important to support our local small businesses. Although I am not well versed on Cuban Sandwiches I wanted to have one and see if everything them is true. And Sandrita's did not disappoint me at all. I had the Cuban Sandwich. It was overloaded with the tastiest meats. The flavor was amazing. And the press of the Cuban bread was perfect. I loved the crisp of the taste. My sandwich came with Plantain Chips which my daughter ate them in the car. They did not make it home. lol. My daughter got the Elena Ruth. And according to her it was "finger lickin good!" She literally licked her fingers. The food was great. And the service was amazing. So welcoming. So gracious. And the nicest people. We will definitely be back for sure.
