Carnitas Pork Nachos were phenomenal! An amazing sharing plate. These nachos were layered, so, toppings were all through out. Also loved the Sunset Salad, such unique flavors you don't find often at beach bars! Great service, and beautiful ambiance, right on the beach. Could even see dolphins!

Great atmosphere, wonderful food, and excellent frozen drinks. Nothing better than sipping Margaritas and eating tacos by the pool. Also steps from the beach and a Tiki Bar if you want a change of scenery.

We are locals and were celebrating the 50th anniversary or our 1st date and decided to stop for a sunset drink. Our server, Keith B., was taking photos for a family and we asked him to take ours, which he enthusiastically did. He took others' as well. At first we were going to have just drinks, but after looking at the menu we decided to have dinner. I had the grouper basket and I liked the different texture of the coating, while my husband had the pulled pork sandwich. We both liked our food and were full, so had to take dessert to go. The dessert was a peanut butter/brownie thing. Keith was a great server and super busy, but always came back to check on us. We saw a spectacular sunset and had a nice dinner. The patron next to us asked us "What's wrong with this view?" The answer was NOTHING. It was a great time and we'll be back.

Food took forever , but I ordered the fish tacos and they were pretty good. Other than that it was just alright . Staff was just hanging out with each other or with their friends that were also eating there. It was hard to get their attention.

I called the restaurant to make a reservation and they informed me they did not take reservations which is always frustrating! Even if you take a deposit from me I would prefer to have a reservation!We decided to go there anyway which is unlike me as I often won't bother if they can't be bothered to take reservations. It was empty! Ha ha! Perhaps it would have had more tables occupied if people could reserve a seat!The view was incredible and the food was amazing! We loved it! We will definitely be back!

Great views of the ocean! Service was good (we went at 11 right when they opened.) They have large portions. I got the mahi mahi sandwich with no bun and it came with two pieces of fish. The side salad was not worth the additional cost however; Just get the fries they are delicious.

As a local resident in Clearwater Beach, I love going to this place. What's not to love. One of the best views of any eating establishment on the beach. The food is really good and the service is top notch. I've always had the mahi-mahi tacos and they are some of the best on the beach. Every visitor should make this a must stop while here.

Great meal and (pay at the kiosk) public parking at the Sand Bar. We pulled into the parking lot to check out Clearwater beach. We were hungry so we tried their Water front outdoor patio dining. Staff was great. We arrived at 2:30 on a Sunday and were able to get a table right away. They had a singer that added a nice touch to our dining. We tried a blueberry Mojito, it was strong but tasty. We tried the buffalo chicken appetizer, it was not too spicy and had many large chunks of chicken. We also tried the favorite of many, the fish tacos. It did not disappoint. We tried them with waffle fries, homemade chips and batter dipped onion rings. The waitress was great, she lead me toward ordering the chips because they are made fresh and crunchy. I had a few that were chewy and not cooked through. When I brought it to her attention she brought me a fresh batch and they were perfect. We also had the steak salad. We asked for it medium rare and it came with plenty of pink. The dressing was tasty. All in all it was a pleasant lunch with a view of the water and I would definitely return if back in Clearwater.
