This is by a LANDSLIDE the BEST SUSHI in town. I've had a lot of sushi in my life and this place is right up there with the best. Great chef, great service, great prices, great sushi.I didn't read the other reviews on here, but if someone goes here and doesn't enjoy the sushi, I don't know what to tell you. Me and my wife are obsessed now.

Horrible place. Called three times, they kept hanging up so I thought maybe they were very busy. I drove to the place and to my surprise it was completely empty. Not one person was dining there. I thought, well, give it a chance. Talking to the host about the sashimi selection and she was absolutely rude. It was my first time visiting the place. I definitely will not try their food or come back.

We moved here almost two years ago but have not been able to find a good sushi spot. We finally tried Sakura Sushi- it is definitely the best sushi spot we have tried so far. We tried four different rolls and liked all of them. The rolls have a good amount of ingredients. So many places load up the rolls with rice and a tiny bit of filling but that is not the case here. Great flavor. I think they are priced a bit high but I'll pay the price to have better sushi. This is definitely a bit hidden in the boot ranch shopping center but the inside is nice and bigger than what you would expect from the outside. Excited to go back and try some different rolls.

Say what you want about "strip mall sushi", "hole in the wall sushi joint" etc... In the end, it's all about the sushi. When you walk in, the Ambiance is what it is, and it's not a place to go with anyone who's idea of sushi is a glam date night spot. This is a casual, no frills place to take care of the Sushi cravings. Most importantly, you will still crave it when you are done!. The sushi is spot on. It's always well made and delicious. So if you are into sushi, this is a must try!I've taken a number friends here and everyone had left Saying it's the best sushi they've had, and they all go back. I strongly suggest the hurricane roll and off menu is my personal favorite the "Angry Tomachi" it's on the spicy side but it's a must try. Go a few times and they will learn your name, learn what you like, and treat you like family. It's often not packed but they do a lot of take out. Trust me, you wont be disappointed.

I had hoped to be able to give a better report. The teriyaki steak was overcooked and low quality with a drizzle of sauce and three bites of veggies. The sushi, very underwhelming. Specialty roll was small and flavorless. I guess back to my fav in Dunedin.

Had to wait forever to be seated.Had to wait to get our drinks and had to keep telling the waitress we needed our drinks refilled.And after more than 1 hr and 15 minutes we finally got our sushi.The sushi definitely was not worth the wait or price.

Doesn't look like much from outside. Has a very clean and calm environment, food was delicious and the servers were very well trained. I got the volcano and tootsie roll, it was mouth watering. Highly Recommend

Came in for some sushi. Was the only person in the place. Was dirty and awkward. Ordered what looked great on the menu and in photos and was gross. I am not a picky person and have never not eaten my sushi even if it wasn't the best but I took most of it to go (should've tossed it). I told the server I didn't like any of it and she just said sorry and brought the whole bill and apologized again. Wouldn't you at least offer a discount or replacement roll or something before just saying sorry here's your full tab? Will never return. Go somewhere else.
