We came here during an evening, it was not busy at all the ambiance in here was very relaxing. We enjoyed our food outside on their patio area. I like the fact that you can see people try to fish across from the restaurant from the patio views. Everything i ordered was amazing! I ordered their crab cakes, stuffed flounder with side of street corn and everything was on point! Amazing laid back type of restaurant with quality and freshly caught dishes.

We finally stopped to eat here. We are members of Freedom Boat club and often take boats out from here.Pros: The food was hot and freshThree of us had the fish and chips, the others had a salad and the smash burger. The fish and chips was good. Not the best we have had, but was very good. Smash burger was apparently amazing and the salad fresh and delicious.Service was friendly, took a minute to get the check but other than that it was great. It was pet friendly, she even brought some water for the baby.Cons: as this is a cabana style sports bar setting and open to the outside which is nice. Smoking is allowed. Some may like this, but they lose points from me.Only other con is that the restrooms are down a flight of stairs, so those with special needs might struggle.

We had a wonderful date nite at the Rum River. We sat by the water and listened to live music and had the best cocktails. The clam chowder was tasty , lobster bites were crispy and grouper sliders were quite lovely. Our waitress was super rad ! Thank you Meadow for taking care of us , smiling, laughing and being friendly. We appreciate the hospitality. We will be back !

Maureen and holly were so awesome. Their service couldn't have been better. I had the grouper and ate all of it with lobster. Incredible. My husband had the peel and eat shrimp and he was also in love. Music was amazing. Loved them. The manager was awesome. Can't remember his name but overall an incredible experience.

Grouper Sandwich is 8.5 at Rum River - A good solid sandwich. Good batter. Large size. I say an even tie with Gill Dawgs down the street.

While the food was good last night, the service was not. The restaurant was empty, unusual for mid season. We waited 15 minutes for drinks. There were 4 in our party and 2 of the dinners came not as ordered. The chowder came 10 minutes after the dinners. The table next to us where 6 people had dined was not cleaned off, even after we asked the waitress we will not go back!

We used to go there often after boating. Good was ok but the worse thing are the feral cats all over the place! It smells terrible. I'm sure those cats are walking all over the tables, bar etc at night. It's very unsanitary!! I'm surprised the DOH hasn't closed it down.

It's not even worth a one star rating yet even worth my time making this review even. But... what is going on I got a crab boil and I think the boil meant everything is boiled in water . If they were too broke, I would've brought in my seasoning myself. not even salt for my potatoes. I'd rather eat a dead fish at the boat dock they have then eat anything from there.
