We checked out Vol. 2 of Rooster & the Till's Winter Brunch Series today, and as expected, the menu was packed with incredible culinary creations. We made it our mission to try as many dishes as possible.Merguez Lamb 'Benedict'This twist on a brunch classic was a bold start. The rich, spiced lamb paired beautifully with whipped feta, all topped with a perfectly fried egg. The Jamison B English muffin provided the ideal base--pillowy with just the right amount of chew.Pork Belly HashA standout dish with melt-in-your-mouth pork belly, complemented by the sweetness of roasted sweet potatoes. The poblano sofrito added a smoky depth, while the salsa macha brought a hint of heat that tied everything together.Duck Confit TartineCrispy duck leg atop a crusty tartine with frisée, paprika aioli, and caramelized pear--this dish had it all. The balance of savory, smoky, and sweet flavors made this one of the highlights of the meal.Blue Crab SaladLight and refreshing, the blue crab salad came with crisp green apple, earthy celeriac, mustard greens, and a surprising pop of flavor from curry-fried garlic.Tiramisu French ToastThis was the ultimate indulgence--espresso-soaked brioche, rich mascarpone, and cocoa, topped with candied hazelnuts for crunch. A tiramisu lover's dream turned into brunch perfection. The CocktailsRooster's brunch cocktails were just as impressive as the food:* Irish Cold Brew: Natterjack Irish Whiskey, cold brew, and a bourbon cream float--like an elevated iced coffee with a boozy kick.* Breakfast Tonic: Bright and refreshing with Condesa Prickly Pear Gin, grapefruit, and Becherovka Spritz.* Sangrita Mary: A spicy twist on a Bloody Mary with Herradura Blanco and Ancho Verde* Acai Berry Bowl: A creative cocktail featuring New Amsterdam Vodka, Fair Acai, yogurt, and granola syrup--smooth and subtly sweet.Every meal I've experienced at Rooster & the Till has been an unbelievable culinary adventure, and today's brunch was no exception. The creativity and precision in every dish and cocktail left me eager for more. I absolutely can't wait to see what the team crafts for the final installment of the Winter Brunch Series in March!Oh, and I have to mention the incredible service from Chef Ferrell Alvarez and his amazingly talented team. Plus, the vibe was perfectly set by DJ Blenda's awesome beats.

Really cool dining experience. We sat at the bar top overlooking the kitchen. It was cool to watch the food being made and talk to the cooks. Somewhat loud environment. Very vibrant. Our waitress recommended 4-6 dishes to split between 2 people. We ordered 2 at a time. They come out as they prepare them. Took about 1 and 45 minutes to eat so it's an experience. Very cool date night - definitely not good for kids.

I've been wanting to go here for ages and finally got the chance! The food was really fun and tasty with options I don't generally see other places. It's my understanding they change up the menu every so often, too, which makes me curious about going back in a little while. However, it's rather small portions to be made for sharing. It was recommended that my party of three order 4-5 dishes. We easily could have eaten more and all left a little hungry. Our servers were wonderful.

Rooster & Till truly delivers and lives up to its Michelin Bib recognition. The food is an explosion of unique flavors and creativity, leaving you impressed with every bite. I loved sitting at the kitchen bar and watching the chefs create these dishes. The hamachi crudo with strawberries was an unexpected delight--light, fresh, and perfectly balanced. The golden beets and ricotta stole the show for me, though. The combination was absolutely unreal. Make sure to get this dish. The gnocchi was also well-executed, comforting and satisfying. The wine list was surprisingly affordable, and the cocktails were a standout with their innovative twists. This spot is perfect for a romantic date night or a lively evening out with friends.

Just WOW. Let me break down this restaurant for you. They have a à la carte menu or they have their entrée menu that is a fixed price with various entrées. This is a very popular restaurant. I highly recommend making a reservation prior to coming. I came here with some friends and we did the A la Cart family style menu option. Every dish we had was absolutely delicious. I couldn't even tell you which one was my favorite. This restaurant is small with a small menu, but man oh man, is it impressive there is a bunch of parking either in the front or across the street. I truly enjoyed the experience here!

Honest review of Rooster and the Till Restaurant: Located at 6500 North Florida Ave. Rooster and the Till has been awarded the Bib Gourmand from Michelin! Since 1997, the best value for money restaurants - offering a three course meal at a reasonable price - have been pointed out using this award so I was excited to finally get reservations. The exterior of the restaurant is minimalistic, when I entered I quickly noticed the Square bar that encloses the culinary staff and bartenders. I sat at the Chefs counter which has high chairs that were comfortable. The staff were welcoming and very knowledgeable about the menu. My starter was their Asian take on Chicken and waffles with Miso, Yuza maple and caviar. This dish had soooo much flavor with a crispy piece of chicken over a soft waffle with a perfectly cooked crust. For my main I ordered the Prefix 3 course meal. My first course was a Wagyu beef tartare with charred pineapple and Chicharron Cracker. The tartare was great especially when you added a squeeze from the lime, the house made chicharron cracker was light, airy and a great crunch. My next course was the scallop tiradito with in season scallop, burnt tortilla mayo, Asian pear and Yuzu kosho (a Japanese condiment). This was one of my favorite dishes of the night, the scallop were perfectly seared, the mayo and yuzu kosho personified the dish to another level with the flavor profile. The next dish was Lechon, Moro rice, plantain puree, and sour orange jus. The lechon was everything you want a lechon to be, succulent , tender and rich with mojo flavor....the only thing it was missing was that crispy skin lechon is known for. The Moro rice was cooked well and had a good amount of black bean, but paired with plantain puree it was a dream. For dessert I finish the night with Nixtamalized Papya with in season papaya, roasted strawberry raspado, and plantain skin cajeta. This was the most unique dessert I have had in a while, it was surprisingly very good. The best I can describe it is a refreshing rice pudding with the rice being substituted for papaya. It was a unique flavor that ended the experience on a great note. All and all this is a great experience with a group, on a date or just indulging by yourself. I think you will be happy with your decision to share a moment in life with the fine folks at Rooster and Till. The only thing I regret is not coming here sooner.

This review is for Sunday brunch. The highlight of our visit was the food, I ordered the wagyu hanger steak salad. The steak was tender and marinated perfectly. The fried chicken was crisp and moist, perfect texture and a bit of heat which made this dish stand out. Value - our total for two entrees was under $47, for the quality of food and expert preparation, I consider this a good value, even for brunch.Ambiance - I deducted one star due to the brunch DJ. Although some music is a good touch for brunch, this was club music and loud. The resturant itself is smaller, therefore, large speakers and club music detracted from a relaxing Sunday brunch.

A must visit in Tampa! The flavors here are very unique and interesting. Things that you wouldn't think go together work well here. And while the presentation is stunning, the quality and flavor of the dishes supersede it. The cobia collar dish is a must order - the Vietnamese dipping sauce pairs well with the fried, flakiness of the cobia. And they do dessert excellently here! Genius and innovative pairings. The vibe is also chill, yet elevated - which I think is very hard to pull off. Service is very inviting and genuine. A great spot all around.

Had a great time! Sat at h ex kitchen counter which I love cause you get to talk to the chefs preparing your food. Got the hamachi crudo, cobia collar (amazing! But don't get on a first date because you really should eat with your hands). Short rib an gnocchi. Everything was great but the cobia collar was out of this world! Our neighbors let us try the chicken and waffles and the pappardelle which were great ( the chicken and waffles were better). Highly recommend!
