Ronnie Ron’s BBQ

Do not be put off by the trailer in the liquor store parking lot- this is the best bbq I've ever had. The ribs and chicken always fall right off the bone. You don't need sauce, but both the spicy and mustard are delish. It has unfortunately ruined all other bbq for me so it's even better that it's close to home. I haven't been right at opening in a while, but it can start with a line/wait-it's very worth it- and better to go early before things start to sell out.

Ronnie Ron's was amazing. We were visiting and stumbled upon this place. It was amazing. My friend is a picky eater and was loved the chicken. It was truly phenomenal. Huge portion. Smoky. And good even before we added the sauce. The ribs were really good, too. I can't wait to go back. The mac and cheese was really good too. I only wish we would have earlier come earlier in the day. They sold out of some things by the afternoon. We will definitely be back.

Dirty and potential to get sick on the food. They use old beat up smokers in a dirty parking lot. Food temperatures aren't at board of health requirements. It's mind boggling that restaurants and other establishment get thorough inspections but some old food trucks and food cooked in a home kitchen with no inspection is just fine.

Amazing food and amazing service. Prices are more than fair and the wait isn't long at all for fresh BBQ. Definitely give this place a try!

Hey, Ronnie Ron's! Sorry i didn't get a chance to try the BBQ everyone is raving about. Stood there for exactly ten minutes, a few people waiting that had already ordered, ladies inside the trailer didn't acknowlege me or say a word, crew outside was sitting around except for one man working the smoker. I truly would have appreciated someone at least saying hello, or letting me know they'd help me out when they could - although they didn't look overwhelmed.Smelled good BBQ - also smelled bad Weed. Walked off, no one said a thing then, either. Shame.

I was in the mood for some bbq so I looked on yelp and found Ronnie Ron's BBQ. The food was flavorful and the service was spectacular. I will certainly be back when I want some more bbq.

Absolutely the best BBQ in Lithia and probably all of Florida. Ronnie's team is professional and very personable as you wait for the mouth-watering food. Get there soon before he sells out.

Ribs ribs ribs! Tried this place because I was literally around the corner and the Yelp reviews looked good. Before you go, know that it's going to be hit or miss. If he sells out early, he goes home, so get it early. It's a mobile trailer, so if you missed it, you missed it. The ribs were cooked perfectly. Two sauces (mustard and sweet BBQ) were both magnificent. I had coke slaw and potato salad for my sides. The potato was worth going back for by itself. Never had it prepared like that before, and I'm glad I ordered it. I plan to keep some in my home fridge from now on. The coke slaw was a bit bland, but plenty flavorful and not drowned in dressing. Crisp slaw done well. The owner (I assume) was pleasant and accommodating, and eager to engage in conversation. Those working with him were skilled and efficient. The only request is that they install a fly trap, fly paper, or black light bug zapper. There were lots of flies inside the trailer, crawling all over the walls and prep areas. Didn't stop me from destroying a full rack though. I can guarantee I'll be back. A LOT.

I may not have been having his food from the very beginning, but I had my first Ronnie Ron's BBQ soon after. There are people who you like, and there are people who are talented. Then, there are those rare people who you like and are very talented. I ran professional BBQ competitions in California, the winner would qualify for the KCBS world championships. Ronnie Ron's would have done well in our competitions with 40 other professional cooks. He is hard working, a valuable member of our community, and honestly, just a good guy. If you want BBQ, go to Ronnie Ron's. The parking lot he is located in has plenty of parking. Service is quick and friendly. Sides are outstanding, especially the beans. He has specialty items, so I recommend following him on Facebook. I don't know what my favorite item is of his, love his ribs, chicken is great, and so is everything else. Local business, started with just a smoker at his mom's if I remember bright. This is everything that our country, our cuisine, and Florida are all about. Love Ronnie Ron's, and you will too.

Great food, service is awesome. When in the neighborhood we always stop by for either chicken or ribs.
